Price decrease is related to no longer being able to convert bonds into membership codes. Bot farms would buy bonds and convert to membership codes, then sell membership codes for cheap instead of selling the gp. If a bot got banned, they would lose gp but you did not lose the codes. Now that you cant do this anymore, there is a lot less demand for bonds.
i forget but cant you still just use the bond on someone for membership? asking since i always have the option to use bonds on my main to give my iron man membership and was debating bout quitting the main since im enjoy iron man alot more atm and was gonna liquidate my bank for memberships

The price of it depends on bond price as well if the bond lets say 12.6m it will be 10 times less to convert it will be 1.26m so that's extra GP needed to do that instead of instantly getting a code with no cost and using it on your ironman. That's why I quit my ironman , it's crazy to pay all together around 15m for a bond.

I lost like 800m and was more upset at the bond price. So yes. People be gambling to the point of not being be able to bond up like myself. And I didn’t play much before I chucked my bank and haven’t paid for members since bonds came out. Actually a lot of scammers too would scam, rebond another acc then try to scam again.

trust me the bond grind is real , i dont pay money to play osrs, i strictly play enough to use gp on bonds, but im still not super rich by using this method,. still its been a grind keeping it up everyday basic method is to make sure i make my 1m to *put to the bond each day during my 14day period and i end up making more like 3-5m a day , i pk , i lose stuff and i still keep it all going.
The bond prices going down isn't because of DMing being banned. If it was because DMers are not buying them anymore the price would go up because less supply of them in the economy while the demand stays the same... Its basic supply vs demand.
