I would be REMISSED if I didn't state that I refuse to let you all change the definition of what flipping is 😂
I mean, you were buying it from NPC characters not real life characters. Still flipping if you ask me 😂
Only trouble I see with this challenge of trying to buy a bond, is that the bond only lasts for 14 days, then you have to buy another.
Nobody wants to spend the majority of their play time trying to afford their next bond, and most people can't just play all the time.
Seems like it would be a better challenge to actually go beyond this, and then establish yourself, such that you can more quickly get your next bond, both in members, and in f2p, so you can recover back to members fast when it lapses while still getting to use most of your game time to actually just play and do other things.
14:34 "aaaanother horse load selling" is crazy
it unironically requires absurd methods that no one else is doing or intimate knowledge of f2p flipping if you don't want it taking over 50 hours to get a bond.
But it's much less time after the first one.
@@MeanBeanComedylike half and you need to nolife hard cuz of the time limit... Prices are absolutely ridiculous
@@Chris-cf6ulyou can make a pretty consistent 1-2m an hour at a low level @ revs
You could always just high alch rune items though...
@@jumpbcconsidering the limits of buying on alchable items, it will still take a few weeks to earn a bond
Looking back 3m for a bond was a good time
Yep🤣 when I originally came back mobile just released and they were DIRT cheap. Im probably just gonna get base 40s in f2p n buy a bond tbh lol
Back in my day they were about 300-400k
I think it was 1.5m around 2018. I managed to get one training range from Ogre warriors and telecasting Zammy wines back then.
Even 3.5-4
Anything but endgame money makers are destroyed and prices are painful
@@dominiqueeslabraahh the days before zammys were botted to hell...
Bro single-handedly supplied the whole of RuneScape with toy horses 😂
I cornered the market for sure
@@LensOSRSthere was a guy in the GE on world 302 today playing with a toy horsey, and I stg it's your fault lmaooo
I haven't seen anyone do that in forever
My theory is that its demand comes from people making "anti-scam" accounts that they stand with at the GE (and collectors for sure) because upon playing with the horsey, the message is "Say neigh to gambling!". (These accounts are probably botted to do that, which is why they might need lots of horses cause ironically, they probably get banned despite their noble goal)
No pking had me instantly watch the whole video. Every single fucking person doing a "from scratch" is like 3 mins of killing rock crabs and heading to revs.
I agree entirely as I hate Wildy content 😂
Yea that’s why I stopped watching a lot of those videos. Every pker has made the same exact one. Pretty sure lagunarium just uploaded one earlier today.
definitely want to see a video of trying to sustain it. less people talk about that
Will do! Thank you!
I did f2p back when a bond was 2m. The moment i used the bond i grinded my ass of to get a new before i did the fun stuff p2p had to offer😂
Nothing beats the feeling of making your first 100k on a F2P account. Great video man!
Appreciate it 🙏
I would love to see a sustaining a bond as a new member since the last time there was a guide for it it was like 3 years ago when bonds were 4-5m
Anyways this was a great video to watch good stuff
I will make good on that! Thank you
I agree
Eh, it's something like Miscellania and 2 herb runs a day to fully sustain a bond. You add in something like battlestaff and dynamite dailies and it's rather easy to upkeep even at 11m each.
1) Find a way to make your first few hundred k.
2) Train magic to 55 with fire strike at lesser demon at Wizard's Tower and be sure to bring Telegrab runes and grab every drop over 200g.
3) Live at the GE and buy various rune items (mainly kiteshields, longswords, maces, and swords) and High Alch them for 45-60k profit per 70 (70 is the 4 hour limit)
You can make like 500k+ profit for less than an hour of high alching and it's very afkable while watching CZcams or a movie if you leave in offers overnight or while at work, maybe 210 or 280 of 3 different rune items.
Also, you get around 82k magic exp if you high alch for an hour straight, and you profit a few hundred k. I got 81 magic from high alching alone and have made 21m and my f2p account is only 4 days and 5 hours old.
I made my bond like that , also living in world 308 , when I surpass the amount in GE I would do flipping high volume items and wait for collectors to appear in GE , help them for profit , took me like 2 days of playing like 18 hours total to get my bond :)
Adding that I would purchase gdhs to guys selling in anvil bank to keep high alc
Yeah alching is a decent way to do it and training magic in f2p will make early members much nicer to do. Solid method tbh
Spec the Addy pl8s in there too 125 buy limit
that's how i made my first few bonds. would not recommend just cause sustaining a bond is the bigger hurdle
As much as I love seeing these videos, you should make one based off how long it would take playing the game rather than shopscape. Maybe like killing ogresses/hill giants how a f2p player would want to play rather than just grind shops quick
Fair point. I think if I tried a realistic route, it would be well into triple digit hours though hah
Ogresses would take about 100 hours, not including training time. But if you got insanely lucky at brophyta, you could get a bond in just two kills. (or 120-ish kills if on drop rate).
@@The_Azure_ The only thing I hate about moss giants is that you eventually outlevel them and they become unaggressive. So it's a massive chore to get mossy keys and babysit each fight.
i remember cutting yews for weeks for my first bond when it was 3/4m :) now im maxed!
The game has come such a long way since it was re-released
Not sure if you got told already, but you can disable the “warning massage” to workshop to a safe non lvl world. Pair up with a hotkey for jumping into the next world you can world hop in like 2-3 sec!
Getting a job is the best money making method
good to see you getting more traction! keep up the good work, you got an amazing voice to listen to
Thank you!
NEW LENS VIDEO. THIS IS NOT A DRILL
Bruhh.. we crossed paths buying Moulds/Thread in Al Karid the other day 😂 i recognized the name F2Pringle instantly.
It has been a pain for me to get 6mill over the last week and thats with a full 24hrs played.
Im grateful for this video since its given me a few better ideas ill run with for the next week to get myself that bond! Thank you good sir!!
Don't forget the needles. They're like 1 gp each and stack, so it's only 1 less inventory space.
Great video dude. The limitations made it even better.
Appreciate it!
What a great video idea, nice job!
The sustain video sounds dope, please do it!
"No flipping"
-Flips within the first minute of the video
kek!
Flipping you off!! Gotcha, dork!
That’s what I was thinking
Buying something from ge and selling to a shop is not flipping, neither is the reverse. Buying something from ge lower than usual and selling for higher is flipping...
@@NightcoreDemon its 100% flipping. Google- "flipping in economics"
@@NightcoreDemon It quite literally is flipping
i want to see the sustain video for sure
this was so much better
i did it when it was 6m i wouldnt recommend doing it then. respect for doing it
I'd love for F2P to get some updates, and honestly I think a good one could be something like Fist of Guthix, but reworked. It was f2p and p2p, maybe we can make some balanced rewards between the two while giving f2p some new content with p2p
F2p should get green dragons imo
@@user-kc5qi2oy1jyeah and allow them to craft the dragonhide too
We desperately need a boss that can be killed by multiple players. The F2P experience has nothing like it.
@@tightywhitey9779 there's 2 f2p bosses though, the moss giant and the hill giant boss that you need the keys for.
@@tightywhitey9779 scurrius should be f2p with those bone weapons too.
Great vid. Deserves more views
Personally, my favorite method to making bond gp is training your account till you can kill bryophyta. 9m drop, and beginner clues! I know it’s a grind getting your skills high enough to kill moss giants and bryophyta, but it’s a great way to give your account a give combat advantage by the time you do buy the first bond. Just an idea.
Bryo is one of the only other viable methods I would go about escaping f2p. It's essentially like trying to win a lottery for your freedom. Ironically I have a guide for Bryo f2p coming out soon
Just found your channel and man, im surprised at how dope it is!
Back in the day, the best F2p money maker was buying elemental runes from aubury for 4 gp and selling on the Grand Exchange for 5 gp, and getting Death runes when they were 300 gp back then. This worked well when the bots had Gerrant's Store and the jug packs on lockdown. Used to be a solid 450k to 550k gp/hr assuming you had the capital to do it and when the US playerbase was at work/sleeping.
Would definitely want to see a sustain bond video as well, echoing the other sentiments here. I think it's just hard to imagine sustaining because most people have trouble imagining gp/hr. If a drop isn't 100k, they don't wanna do that method lol.
Another good one is buying empty water canteens in Al Kharid and fill them and sell on GE
Huh..
you can do this with empty vials too!! it's terrible but still a thing
You can't underestimate the power of the bandit duty free is not for the feint of hearth but is not as bad as people think.
Sick vid dude.
Tbh, since you were only averaging 200k an hour (not accounting for logged out sell times) it would probably be best to do lower profit skills to progress the account if actually trying to earn a bond (cooking, woodcutting, smelting, crafting, magic)
Still like to see content like this especially bonds continue to climb.
I've set earning a bond as my condition to leave ftp twice in the past, selling iron plate bodies to horvik is still pretty good.
I agree. A true new f2p player should progress their account instead of grinding shops for hours, or just jump straight into members
LOVE YOU LENS IM UR BIGGEST FAN
Nothing gives me that feeling of good ol financial entrapment like runescape does
F2p should get the rat boss as end game content, also fist of Guthix or stealing creation would be dope
I totally agree. I actually thought that the Rat boss WAS a f2p boss for a second, I mean come on. Its LITERALLY in the varrock sewers, but nope
I'd love to see a follow-up video in member's!
good video, should do how much money can you make in 2 weeks from a bond on this account or a fresh account
Will have that exact video out within 2-3 weeks 🙏
Will love to see if you can change 1 bond into two then 4 then 8 then get up to a year and try keep a year bond or hold 2 bonds. If you have get a bond by other account then a repayment plus interest. I going try it but as free to play and to see if I can pay for it and support 2 accounts.
i wanna see how long it takes to keep the bond as a member
Please make videos in members now sustaining the bond!
Weirdly enough about 2 weeks ago I also stumbled on the toy horsey's and sold 2-3k of them to buy a bond myself
I really appreciate this video, as someone who is being "gate kept" by the price of bonds(i cannot afford to play, i cant afford to buy bonds and i cant afford the time to farm them now, i used to farm 2 bonds every month when Bonds were like 4mil) but 22mil a month is impossible for me. As always thanks a ton mr Lens!
whats ur username ill give u a bond
Thank you!!
There's some really good money makers out there not on the wiki, like ~3 mil an hour
I never saw bonds worth under 6m and I’ve played for the last 20 years….
@@creekninja Bonds in Oldschool specifically have sold for as low as 1.7m back in 2015. They have gone up over time since
I really appreciate that you used methods everyone can use instead of sweaty ge flipping and had a grounded and realistic opinion on it at the end. Great vid!
F2P to Main Series would be Pog
Would love a follow up about maintaining. Would be fun
Will do
average runescape f2p bond grind:
1. you start looking for a good gold making method
2. realize they have all been ruined by botting
3. find one that hasn't been ruined as much
4. grind to afford a bond
5. get enough gold
6. realize the price of a bond has increased since you started so you actually don't have enough gold now
repeat
Subbed lol. If you do the sustaining vid I'll stay subbed 🤣. (Probably gonna stay regardless but would appreciate the vid). Just came back to OSRS after getting hacked and swearing off the game. I just can't stay away😭
Will make the sustain video after I get a couple guides out of the way first
The price of those horses looked STABLE!
You’re a winning channel !
Back when osrs runescape mobile released, i got back into the game, wanting to stay f2p as i was as a kid, but eventually i wanted to earn a bond, but i didn't want to do money making without earning XP so i went for sapphire rings which were good money back then, all the way to lvl 69 and then quit runescape for a while. Now the bonds nearly doubled in price and i feel like i wasted all that time
CTRL + SHIFT or ALT(not sure) + Left/Right and you dont have to click the world hop, just saying
Happy to see a realistic picture of what f2p to bond is like in this day and age, instead of just randomly exploiting a one day market manipulation and acting like it's a legit long term money making method.
I got 4 bonds in F2P recently, If you've got experience with the game it's not too bad but it is getting harder and harder. I intend to sustain membership after using those to gain levels/methods.
❤ your vid and dedication. Im fortunate to have a job to pay for membership finally... no more wasting 50 hours labor in game i just spend ~ 1 hour of income instead ❤
Fully agree. Once I switched from bond membership to just paying it monthly, The game has been so much more enjoyable.
thats a lot of work when I can just work 20 mins at my irl job for a month of membership
Oh I totally agree
@LensOSRS the only time to consider buying bonds for membership is when you're at endgame imo. Early and mid game you're just slowing down your progress a ton to upkeep membership
@@chadley2014 Man you just keep spitting facts 😂Yeah I agree, When you have to worry about maintaining your bond every 2 weeks and deleting 13m+ from your acc to do so, it can get demotivating. Though some people have to do that
The Toy Horsey Industrial Complex
I would love to see a video of someone trying to maintain a bond with a max playtime of somewhere from like 10 to 16 hours per week of playtime for those of us that don’t have much more time to play. I’m sure it’s doable I’m just curious.
I've gotten myself to a point that I can maintain a bond by only doing herb runs, I do a few things along with it which also help. But my last bond I used, I spent 0 time focusing on money making and was able to get enough for another bond. It's good to finally enjoy the game without the bond financial stress.
I sold a bond for 12.5mil the other day, all these f2p-to-no d videos honestly just lead me to believe Jagex just buys them back
52 hours vs 25 minutes at mcdonalds xd
My ACC from scratch never paid for bonds now it's better when you can sustain being member I think it's easy now if you go kill pirates in wildy easy bond
Now try it without flipping from the shop. Maybe start at level 3 and kill monsters. Could even try little looting in PvP worlds. Just to see what the difference in time is. Great video though
Sounds like the Australian housing market
Maybe do another episode where you take this account and re-make a bond as a member?
Even when bonds were half the price they are now, this was a tedious feat. Jagex lost the war for F2P against bots long ago.
Anyway, it’s entertaining seeing the methods people use in these challenges, I was kind of tuning the video out but seeing a GE buy order for 6000 onions was very funny
WE MAKIN IT OUT OF F2P WITH THIS ONE 🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Let's see the p2p continuation!
Ty for watching! Im thinking about doing it on another new lvl 3 account for a fresh playing field in members
I think its so sad that there aren't any truly viable skilling or combat money making options for f2p... Except for rune stuff but that takes AGES to get the stats
ive got the stats for rune and when i played it wasnt really worth it, it takes like 6 minutes to walk there and back in f2p and clans are camping there constnatly.
To be honest this isn't much different from flipping. The difference is you're doing between NPCs shops and G.E.
And earning by hard and honest skilling or PVM? It would take you weeks.
Its now 60 hours ish. 😢
Thank you for doing the maths and all the janitor content so we wouldn't have to, you are a true hero of Gielinor:tm:
"another horse load selling"
❤
run the acc up to a main sustaining off the bonds ;)
I'll def run it up!
I sold one of my 5 bonds yesterday and it sold for 14.2m….. inflation even in the game 😂
they are 12.2 millions 2 weeks later. lmao. got one for 11.2 after waiting for a long while.
Brother it was 6m when i played osrs a year ago LOL
Says no flipped proceed to amke firs tpart of vudeo entriely fliping lol
flipping is done on the g.e. just selling items to shop isn't considered flipping
good money making to do is making full black armour sets
F2P needs to have an update or overhaul at this point
LENS F2P ARC BOYS
im telling you, if youre new and genuinely dont know what to do in order to make a bond, just craft gold jewelry and high alch it. you will be making the bond in a matter of days instead of weeks with these ADHD f2p flipping schemes requiring a shit ton of clicking. you can basically afk your bond, crafting 99 and magic 99 with 2 bonds
other comment that video idea you had is cool
you know whats sad? this guy makes more money per hour on a cb 3, f2p account than i do on my cb 107 account as mem.
Hah, there's plenty of member's methods out there!
@@LensOSRS yeah but im too stupid to find them or pull them off :D
Been f2p for 4 years. Almost maxed stats, got a quest cape (removed when ds2 released) with the current prices of bonds im maxing out all skills that don’t require membership. Crafting - rubies, hit 99. Smithing addy plate bodies (in progress) magic high alching the addy plates (98 magic 8k high alch left) just better utilization of my time then hitting member and making gold, I don’t want the pressure of buying membership and wasting time doing easy skills. Only f2p I’m saving for members is fishing infernal eels as very afk and give great gp with zero effort. Ok bye :)
I commend your persistence. I would just make the jump to membership and live there rest of your acc there. The easy skills become even easier with members methods, and it's relatively easy to maintain a bond with p2p money making. Cheers!
as an rs3 player 11m for a bond is a dream....
do you not use the 117 hd overhaul?
It looks good for sure, and sometimes in b-roll I use it, but I prefer the classic look for when Im playing
@@LensOSRS oh damn, I love using the improved graphics modern look on game I love from my childhood.
It's diango not Django
I am absolutely genuinely shocked right now
Ive been playing for about a month now and I now have more than enough for a bond, I even flipped one, but I'm still in f2p grinding xd I'm not ready for p2p
yes! I want a video on how to sustain myself please
How did you flip one ? It costs 1mill to make it tradeable.
@@ceshmate1953 yeah I realized that only after buying so I made like 200k, bond prices jump a lot
omfg pinch me I must be dreaming
10 mins in...this feels like a video showcasing how a bot, someone with extensive game experience or a youtuber making a video on unusual methods would go about getting a f2p bond rather than a normie player experience working to it.
Felt like it was everything but representative of the f2p experience, haha. Still entertaining though.
imagine having to work an additional 9-5 job for about a week just so you can save yourself...what $7?
someone needs to make a "f2p to bond" video and just buy a bond, would be funny.
I remember when bonds were 6.5m smh
See, this is why I buy bonds. It's to keep prices down and help noobs get membership.
That's why, honest! It's not because I'm bad at this game!!!
Casual, do it again iron.
That would take upwards of 2-300 hours bruh 😂
"no flipping" proceeds to flip in the first 3 minutes
It’s not flipping if you are buying items from the ge and creating a new item with the items you bought. Then selling for more. Flip is buying one item, and relisting it in the same form as you bought it.
Took me two months
It'd be easier to get a part time job and work a few hours top earn the money for membership 💀
You’d be correct lmao
If you get a job how do you have time for OSRS?
And now tell new player he have to do it to play a game :D
