“They don’t feel that awful” 😂 personally I love an honest review even if it’s persuaded by an affiliated link. It’s funny watching you try to praise something you don’t particularly praise. Good job 👏🏼 I liked it!
Thanks! I appreciate that. I honestly don't care much about the affiliate link. I just wanted to try out the boots. I'm not going to lie just to get a few bucks like a lot of other youtubers do.
If you like the style of those, and are potentially looking for a more "traditionally made" cowboy boot, you may want to check out Chisos. The boots are double the price, but lack the synthetic materials in the build construction. American company, but boots are produced in Leon, Mexico. Best wishes....
Great review! I loved how you came at it given that they were an intro boot. You can’t expect Filet Mignon out of a burger. Btw, what shirt are you wearing?
I had a pair of these in a smooth leather, don’t remember the name. “They didn’t feel that awful” but I only wore them once and gave them away to my project manager. It’s hard to wear better made Ropers and then to go to something like this boot. But not bad for the price.
Hello, this was a good review. Did you have any trouble getting them on/off? I have a pair and struggled a bit getting them on and taking them off the first time I wore them. I also read the reviews on the Huckberry site and quite a few reviewers had that issue.
They're very thin and you lose the flexibility and breathability of leather, but don't add much in terms of grip and durability. IMO go for a thicker rubber sole or just keep it to leather.
I can’t wear foam insoled shoes for the sweat reason. One of the best things about leather footwear is the sweat control.
Yeah I agree. That's very helpful and I took it for granted until I had to review boots with synthetic insoles.
Cowboy boots are supposed to have heel slip, they’re designed that way.
Very good to know! I appreciate the insight

Thanks! Glad to know that they don't use synthetic materials.

Thanks! I try to be as balanced as I can be, even if I don't do it perfectly. The shirt is from Eastman!

Haha looks like we agree on how they feel. What better ones do you have? I'm interested in finding some for myself.

Not at all. They're extremely easy to get on and off
They do recommend to go a half size up for D width and full size if you’re EE width.
Long time viewer here: do you use shoe trees in any of your boots? I searched the blog but could not find and mention of shoe trees.
Not any of my casual boots, but I do keep them in my dress shoes.
Thank you for clarifying, sir.
Why do you not like toppys?

Have you talked about XSBS? I admire their work but I have reservations about their copying of Clinch.
I did, but I took the video down after learning new information. I have filmed a follow up video and will post that soon.
Could be me, but something about a striped t shirt feels like it belongs on school children only. Definitely looks odd on Adults.
That's fair. I like it, but it's not for everyone.
