Brilliant! I thought your chipping video was incredible. This is tops that. Shift, turn, shift turn.
Brilliant!! - I actually made my own board a few months ago- but this video - breaks it all down perfectly- fantastic!!! - the modification on the step-into-it drill is great - best I have seen - Thanks Jonathan!! :) - I am going to reset and start slowely again until I get it right ! - Perfect video for syncronisation too :) - this puts it all together and swing can flow now.
Easily one of the best instructors on CZcams.
the best
Dude this is exactly what I need to work on and I will be using these drills. Cheers
Another great video! Thank you for your great instruction.
So clear and makes such a difference. Thank you!
Shift first! Very interesting! I never knew this!
I recently saw a top speed golf video explaining the same movement that was an ahah moment for me. Broke 80 last week. 1st time! This video explains it in a much more understandable way. I hope it works for you.
Great tutorial video. Thank you.
Excellent tutorial ! Thank you, Jonathan.
Shift-Turn-Shift-Turn is a great way to describe the sequence.
Thanx coach, i really need this... 👍🏼💪🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Absolutely amazing drill Coach .. you are amazing teacher ..thanks buddy
Outstanding information, thanks for sharing!
Good demonstration 👍🏻
Great job, Jonathan.
Great practice tip! Can’t wait to hit the range
Excellent video, thankyou
Dr Kwon step drill! Love it! I practice the rope drill all of the time at home and it feels so good.
But man every time I get to the course and try to use ground force in my swing I always end up loosing control of my club face.
Amazing videos, Jonathan! I’d like to request a video on hitting woods please? Stance, ball position, swing thoughts etc. thank you!
Easily and professionally!!!
great lesson..s
...aaaaand let it gooo
Actually, it was very important that you repeated it many times. Good video.
Rufio! Rufio! Rufio! Hope all is well bro! Love what you’re doing. Awesome stuff man.
Rufio 🎉
Hi coach, please advice practice/drill to avoid over backswing. Thank you
Hi. Is it the same ‘shurn’ with driver ?
Having said you must not sway, on all his demo swings he sways. Just watch his head against the screen above.
He sways because he is on the board, without the board he would not be swaying
Does this apply to driver as well?
What percentage of your weight is on each foot during the backswing and downswing?
The amazing part of this video is the perfect ground clip you make while elevated at least an inch off the ground. That is what we hackers cannot do. The complication of this rhumba you are teaching securely unnecessary and confusing. Starting on the left side and pressing up with the left leg accomplished 95% of this. Your teaching is becoming more and more complicated and timing dependent.
Welcome to golf.
@@BHJ7115 actually, what you are saying is “welcome to golf instruction”. The danger is getting a good tip and then marrying the instructor to be led down the rabbit hole. Hitting the ball before the ground is all that matters for 99% of us. Rocking on a board is almost guaranteed to make this more doubtful.
Weight shift plays a major role in making ball first contact. If you don’t struggle with it then this video wouldn’t be helpful to you. Seems like you’re projecting yourself onto everyone else
@@adamhinkle5580 we are all projecting ourselves, aren’t we? It makes much more simple sense to rotate into your left side. Like Scheffler. To isolate a footwork pattern in no way guarantees the correct shift into the left side; it’s just a dance move. I really like this site. But lately, there is too much discussion of what next move begins before the last move was made. That is not teaching. That is reliance on the natural talent of the player and creates too much room for error. I teach tennis. This natural, loosely-goosey feel is what players want. It may come but only after hitting thousands of fundamentals-based reps.
@alexandermayer2026 Your certainly entitled to your opinion. The fact is the weight shift, in my opinion, is the hardest thing to learn in golf. The rocker board is an effective way to illustrate these dynamic effects. Also this method of teaching is widely accepted by many top professional instructors. Good luck with your journey.
