- "Becoming Melsy" is a short introduction about the artist, Jamel Saliba, the owner and creator of Melsy's Illustrations. She is a self-taught fashion illustrator who left her 9-5 job and took a leap of faith by opening up her own business, Melsy's illustrations.
Jamel's signature style consists of feminine and dainty fashion illustrations that are created without faces. Instead, she focuses her attention to detail on the hair and clothes of her pieces; this is done to make her artwork relatable to all audiences.
