Sen did very well to maintain his composure when Loh came back winning six on the bounce towards the end of the first game. Many players would have been shaken and gone on to lose the game, having believed the “momentum” had gone against them.

I watched all the Indian Open matches of LKY. He doesn't played much like what he did at WC. Not really injecting much pace & smashes throughout the tournament and showing much hesitation when doing killer shot too. If he is idolising Momota's style of doing those lots of rally, pls pls stop it immediately! In fact, go look back at the 90s Indonesian legend Heriyanto Arbi. IMHO, Arbi's way of playing is far more similar and beneficial to him. Good luck! Don't go back to zero and change your whole playing style.

That's exactly what I thought too. This 'Slow Kean Yew' game really perplexed me. There were some parts of the game where LKY opted for drops and attacking clears instead of the typical smashes. It's really clear evidence about his state of mind.
And I just have to wonder if doing that against an opponent who has trained with him in Dubai was the wisest thing to do.

Exactly what I thought too. Was he trying to show to his potential opponents that he can play a slow game as well? Or is he using this Super 500 to test his new style of play?
