Hey I recently converted my McLane to electric as well but have been using Ryobi 40v. Do you still feel like switching to a lower gauge wire has solved your controller problems? I'm having the same issue with 12 awg from the battery to the controller. Also would you mind posting the link to your Ali express battery kit that you recommend? Great job and nice bimmer, got an X3 m40i myself
Hey, yeah. I feel the 12awg wire has really helped my setup. How long is the wire you are using. You also have to be careful with long runs of wire. This is the battery kit I purchased, you will still need the 18650 battery cells.

@@JohnsonMotorsports Just got the reels sharpened and swapped out to 10 AWG wire for the entire setup and she runs like a champ now. I'd really like to do the battery mostly for weight to lay some deep stripes. She can already put some better ones down than my Ryobi 21" though!
