- Hey guys, this video is hopefully going to help the people that are starting university, particularly Plymouth University but some tips can help people that are just planning to go to uni. I hope you found this video somewhat helpful.
The amount of times I say "so" or "umm" is actually ridiculous and annoying 😂

i’m from plymouth, lived here all my life, and thinking of going to uni here and it’s so weird sitting and listening to someone talk about their experiences here! this is a fab video tho thank u 💗
Aww really ? Thank you ☺️ xx
please keep making these videos next year!! i’m really wanting to go to plymouth in the future but there’s literally no videos on youtube about it!! (maybe you could do a few vlogs and stuff!!) xx
Ofc, I will try and do some more videos like this. 💕
Just want to say you have amazing vibes and I love your videos💖
@Sabrina Cheung Hey m in for going for MSc heath caremanangement is it good here?? Do u know anyone from the course s i wasn't able to find anyone
I did the opposite, went to Aberdeen uni in 1984, a real culture shock in terms of weather/climate etc. But got used to the change, but the 12 hour bus ride from Plymouth to Aberdeen was not fun, more an ordeal. Nowadays, flying would be the norm??
I'm starting in September and I'm sooooooo nervous, because I'm from Hong Kong and I have never been to UK before😥
Omg really, that's amazing and don't be nervous it is very natural to feel nervous especially if you haven't been to the UK and its your first time so it is bound to be scary but don't worry about the things that can't control. Everyone is in the same boat and you have to remember that everyone is also new to it all so you won't be alone. You can follow my instagram if you have anymore questions (Sabrina_cheung_yt) or any specific things you're worried about and I can see if I can help ☺️ xx
@@sabrinacheung170 Followed! Thank you for cheering me😭
No it’s okay !! It is normal to feel scared and anxious but it will all be okay. Go with the flow !
Which of these have more freshers, Uni Accommodations or private ones? and which do you prefer as a first year
I personally went for the private accommodations as it was cheaper and the one that I stayed at was really nice.
Hello... I am applying for September intake 2021 and I would like to know if I need to apply pre sectional English course first or apply the degree and then join the PSEC later (after being accepted or being contacted by the university), since I do not currently have valid English Language Qualification (I have Diploma in TESOL but don’t think it will be counted like IELTS or TOFL) and I do not have enough time to prepare and take IELTS... If someone knows, please 🙏
Have you already submitted your application as the deadline for 2021 was March. You can do an English language proficiency test as part of your pre arrival
I'm about to book my accommodations as of Sept 2020 intake..can you make a video about accommodations in detail if you personally have had any experience about the Halls or from whom you know lives there. Should I book accommodations online or after I arrive there( I'm a international student)
Yes ofc. I will try and get that done ASAP. And I would advise you to book online before you get there !! X
@@sabrinacheung170 Thanks dear! Can we meet after all this is over? 😇 I booked onlined for Radnor Halls of residence but I was confused between an En Suite and a Standard room!
sabrina .. thank you so useful video .. what about tuition and fee for the university
there is any interview from university when we apply for ??
This was much needed....got the acceptance letter for September this year hehe 🙃❤️
Glad it could help and ahhh good luck with your studies ☺️

What about part time jobs in Plymouth, Is it easily available?
How do u get in these group chats without knowing the People first ?
there should be Facebook page that you can follow and the admin person should add you into the group chat. Hope this helped :)
Anyone for January 2023 intake - University of Plymouth? Just wanted to know about accommodation and part time opportunities.
Any recommendations for phd in psychology?
Lmao £125 a week… I live in Mary Newman - £164 a week 😂 kinda jealous ngl
Sooo helpful!!!!

Can u tell me about the interview, how hard will it be,? Because I have interview very soon at Plymouth uni.

Hi I am thinking of playing for uni next year and I was wondering how diverse the uni and the city is as I am a poc too ?
I personally would say that the uni is quite diverse tbh x
@@sabrinacheung170 thanks for replying !
Where are you coming from? If you come from a place that's very diverse I think the uni and city will be a big shock. It was for me and and other non-white people from London, Birmingham etc. It was hard for some people I can't lie.
@@oabuseer thanks for the information yh im coming from London 🥺
What is the entry requirements for international students to get into the medicine course at Plymouth? (what UCAT score they usually ask for)
If you're looking at the bachelor of medicine, Bachelor of surgery course it says UCAS tariff is A*AA - AAB but I would have a look on the University of Plymouth website to see if that's the course you were looking at. ☺️
are there a lot of poc
Hihi .. I'm planning to study international business in Plymouth university..do you think is Plymouth the right university to study business?
heya, I only have the perspective of studying at Plymouth university but I definitely enjoy it at Plymouth. However with that being said i believe its personal preference. The staff at Plymouth are nice and makes you feel very welcome when you first start. Hope this helped.
many people say that Plymouth have so many mouses in city is that true?
No I don’t think so 😅
@@sabrinacheung170 thanks a lot Sabrina😊
Anyone coming in plymouth for sep 2024 intake????
This was so reassuring thank you💜 I'm starting in September. And I'm so nervous to make friends. Going into a new city not knowing a single person lmao most of the videos I watched are like from 6 years ago times have changed lmao thank youuuu.
It’s okay. I’m glad it helped ! You can Dm on Instagram (sabrina_cheung_yt) if you have any more questions or anything. Would love to help you! Xx
Hey, I'm starting in September too. Gonna be alone too pretty much, other than my S/O. What course are you going to do?
@@cesilkane2650 heyy I'm going to be studying fine art and art history hbu???
Don't feel worried about coming on your own. Most people are in exactly the same and feel the same. Know that you will be leaving Uni with life long friends! You will meet them randomly in a line, or a night out, or on your course. 😊.
996665444 good enough for GCSE?
Let me come to the library with you at 3am next year pls
Yesss im so down!!!
👍🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

I've just finished first year at plymouth!

I am going in september anyone willing to join shared accomodation

Is the uni good for nursing?... Is it better than university of the West of England(uwe)?
I personally can’t answer that question sorry
Plymouth is one of the top universities in the country for medicine and allied health. Most people who come to Plymouth do Marine Biology or a health related course.
Cool video. What subject do you study? I’m guessing you do business :)
Thank you and yes ☺️
@@sabrinacheung170 omg I legit took a random guess. I was like hmm she’d be a good business major xD
hey, so do you enjoy plymouth? x
Yeah I do, you planning to go to Plymouth ? X
Sabrina Cheung yeah! Studying Nursing hopefully in September staying at Astor
@@ameliamabel7676 Aww nice !!
