Hi, I dont think so, it just means you can refill phials, I'll test later but I'm sure it doesn't boost the release.

its charging shield also increase the savage axe mode damage? bcs im also like savage axe and barely using SAED

You totally need to charge the shield, it boost the DMG of savage axe, in this video I tried this way for testing the DMG difference.

Haven’t played mhw since before iceborn released. So since cb has the pizza cutter mode, now nobody is using the big axe mode slamming thing? Is it weaker in iceborne?

Yeah, from testing charging shield it's around 3-4 mins faster to kill it, even though I suck using this weapon.

How strong is full philes SAED hit in savage axe mode? Is it worth it unloading all philes into one SAED hit in savage axe mode?

its not worth to saed even once in a savage axe playstyle since you're going to lose dps.its better to just refill your phials and cookie cut till your shield needs to recharge. but if you got the chance to saed into a knocked or even a last hit (cuz its cool) then you can do it.

@@kayyow7337 depends on the monster ur fighting and the build you use but in most situation savage axe is just better. for example when you fight black diablos with an ice build, SAED is gonna be good cuz of how black diablos weakness to ice and its multiplier to ice. spreading those elemental dmg through its body will do a lot of dmg and most of the time itll stagger it and breaks a lot of its parts or even KO it. but if you're fighting a nimble monster like rajang savage axe is gonna be better. even charge sword is better againts a rajang cuz when hes mad you're gonna bounce your attk. another example is fatalis, you dont wanna saed even once againts fatalis or you gonna get punished hard. feel free to use saed playstyle on a monster like raths tho. but then again its your gameplay so do whatever you feel comfortable but impact cb artilery 5 build is just bad in my opinion. id recommend just build savage axe cb with lvl 3 guardian and saed when u get that sweet counter chance.

newbie CB user here and i was wondering if there was a reason why you didnt charge your shield? is the dmg increase not significant enough for alatreon? or is charging my shield generally never worth it if im just gonna use savage axe?

Its totally better charging shield, you get higher DMG boost in %, this it's just me trying said DMG difference that's why I avoid charging shield.
