More BS from Toyota. They've been promising a SS battery every year since about 2015. Meanwhile, the real leaders in the battery world (CTAL and BYD) are steadily improving and innovating to a point where we now have LFP cells at a higher kWh/kg than NMC was at a few years ago and their NMC technology is double the energy density of the battery in my 2019 EV. With prices of existing batteries coming down and performances going up the case for SS batteries becomes weaker all the time.
