Really love hearing this man talk as a presenter..
Sad his f1 career didn't work out for him.. doesnt work out for everyone..
But he loves f1 and its good to see him still around doing something hes well at.
the great thing about jolyon is that he isnt bitter about it. and he rolls with the punches. they constantly make fun of his f1 career on his bbc podcast but he takes it on the chin and even makes fun of himself. he was once one of the top 20 drivers in the world. not many will achieve similar success in their lives
Toro Loco becuase you drive a formula 1 car doesn’t mean you’re a top driver in the world. You think latifi is a top 20 driver? Fuck no there’s plenty of drivers that don’t have 30$+ million in sponsorship backing that have way more ceiling height than latifi
Fastball Films Latifi hasn’t driven a single Grand Prix lap yet, give him a chance before you write him off completely.
But I also agree with you in the fact I feel there were better candidates for that seat than latifi, but money talks in F1
@@fastballfilms4214 or stroll
@@lucasbulldogs7 there is a reason he drove 5 seasons in gp2/f2 and didnt get frive in f1. He only got the drive in williams bc that team needs money

You definitely should keep Palmer. Maybe if Will takes some more commentary assignments, I wouldn't really be bothered with him as a Paddock Pass host. Really great two guys to have.

Jolyon Palmer your F1 carrer might haven't gone to plan but you are doing an amazing job as presenter and analysing the sport is for sure
Will and Jolyon are honestly just sooooo good, we are lucky to have them. I'm sure in the back of his mind he would want to be back in the car, but really Jolyon is just so natural at all this, and I hope to see him in many more videos this season!
Sure, once a pilot - always a pilot. Will and Palmer = great 2020 season already. I'm really happy that F1 channel listened to us after 2019 and as it seems, 2020 brings the best presenter team on the grid.
@@WackorMiki they listened to some of us in 2018 when he showed his F1 knowledge during those stupid mini games formula 1 was hosting, didn’t he win that? When he spoke it was so natural.
Just add a dash of Marc Priestly ..
@@fredherfst8148 Awesome presenter, for sure. +1 to that.
@@GamingAmbienceLive I could successfully skip the minigame I'm afraid. I'm an old dog, totally lost F1 after the Schumacher era. All I know that from a casual viewer I became a regular on F1 YT channel during 2019 because of Will and Jolyon.
Short answer: drive
Slightly longer answer: drive the new car all day long
What do you need? Drink and steering wheel
Nguyen Duc Hung Mein Gott Muss DAS SEIN!
The team used to tell me to keep the car ‘in one piece’ during testing but I couldn’t understand what they meant by that
That's why you were sacked from f1. 😂
Sounds like they were saying you crash too much, granted i dont think i could get the thing moving and would trigger anti stall a million times
Was expecting Magnussen, but ok.
Also Pastor has won more Grands Prix than all of us combined, so show some respect to a world class driver.
@@McPlayer8t dont think it was aimed at me but gonna say it,
I always show respect, these boys and future girls are living the dream many of us could only imagine, even if i dont like someone i will give credit if they are good at what they do, and even the "rubbish" drivers in comparison to the "good" ones are still more skilled in there sleep driving then most of us are when driving in reality
No shade mate, I was just having a laugh, but I get a bit tired of people saying he crashes all the time. It seems the internet is often not the place for positivity and optimism unfortunately.
Dear F1 listen up
-More top 10s
-More of Jolyon Palmer
-Maybe some classic races on CZcams to watch?
F1 did all of those in a decent amount of uploads
They dont want quantity over quality
@@mrsun4753 That said, vintage broadcasts would be fun to watch, too. Pick a year at random, post the race on that year.
@@closedcl8 I remember they showed the 2008 Brazilian GP before the 2018 one, and the 2005 Japanese GP before the 2019 one.
closedcl8 that’s what f1tv is for
The classics are on f1tv. So I think they don't post it on CZcams.

Absolutely amazing content! This is exactly what we as fans are not privy to but really want to know. Also, Jolyon is a very pleasant presenter to listen to and he knows what he's talking about as an ex-driver. All around BRAVO F1!
Jolyon is so insightful, it's a joy to watch. We need more from this man please!
Happy to see F1 pushing Palmer more!
What a fun season it would be if williams came up and shocked everyone..
They can shock every one as previously
@@LukaCuturic 19-20*
I honestly think Alfa will be last this year. Gio proved he can drive in the latter part of last year without bottling it every two races, but this years car...
One Creator It’s gonna be way more emotional than Honda’s first win after the drought. I’d love to see them succeed. They may be at the bottom of the pile, but I really admire their dedication. They have been through so much, I couldn’t imagine how they feel when they walk through the paddock during race days, but they still do it, no matter how much humiliating it is.
Most possibly not, but i do think they can be competitive with other teams rather than fighting with themselves in the back like 2019. Based on pre-season testing.. Things are already a lot better than 2019.
Jolyon Palmer slowly becoming Martin Brundle! 😎👌
His dad became a commentator alongside Murray Walker not long after retiring as a f1 driver. He took over from the late James Hunt in 1993 and worked alongside him till the end of 1996

Haas: *Both of you, pay attention*
Yeah... two crashes so far and both are the Haas drivers.
McPlayer8t I mean the second one was not the drivers fault, pretty sure it was the teams fault with the tyre rim,
It was a puncture from the kerb that caused the spin. So it’s 50:50.
McPlayer8t I mean I am pretty sure it was said it was a tyre rim failure, but either way, a tyre puncture mostly all the time is not the drivers fault
McPlayer8t To add on this, if you were watching the testing live, one of the images shows a flash on the tyre rim, indicating a failure of some sorts
Really happy for Jolyon Palmer in this role, he really did very well, great to see his involvement in the sport. Keep it up !
