- It's been over 5 months!! But I'm back and also still alive. So I decided to do a comic dub and share my voice cause why not? XD But I hope you enjoyed!!

Love how fans flesh out scenes that must have happened but were never shown
Link isn't just a good hero, he's a great big brother.
Just imagine somewhere in the Zelda Universe, a descendant of Aryll was around and had a Link, who was a descendant of her brother, and the two found out they were cousins.
If Akira Himekawa were to adapt Wind Waker into a manga (not counting the Yonkoma), I'd love it if they could expand on the story like in their Twilight Princess adaptation. I especially hope that they would expand upon Link's family, give them something to do (maybe show Aryll comforting the other captive girls in the Forsaken Fortress. Or show Link and his Grandmom embracing after reuniting), etc. To me, what separates WW Link from the others is his family.
How did the comic expand on it?

Link got a backstory that he wasn't from Ordon village and was from somewhere else, He also gets more character arcs, Midna and Zelda are childhood friends, we get to see how deeply Illia's kidnapping affected her, Link dies like twice, there's a new character in Volume seven, the fact that Link, Ganon, and Zelda keep reincarnating over time is addressed, the hero of time shows up A LOT more, and oh yeah, Midna and Link share a kiss. There's probably more but that's all I can think of.
Slight Nitpick: Link didn't leave the lifeless King of Red Lions at Outset Island. He sailed away on it beside the pirate ship.
Still, it is another heartwarming interpretation of how devoted he was to his friend (who was arguably a father figure to him).
Note: I used to say that it was a recreation of his boat. It may very well be the actual boat but without the King of Hyrule's spirit possessing it.
It was a recreation? I thought the boat wasn't possesed by the King anymore.
@@marcosgalvis3498 Maybe you're right. I thought I read somewhere that it was a recreation. Either way, my point is that Link took the boat with him at the end of Wind Waker, not leave it at Outset Island.
@@cadethumann8605 I think it's just the boat without the spirit of the king, but could be wrong, do you know where you heard that from? But yeah he takes the king of red lions at the end of the game, considering you don't see it at all in phantom hourglass maybe he gave it to Aryll eventually but point still stands. I think whoever made the comic likely knew this but was just taking creative liberty
@@neonmajora8454 I read that it was a creation when I was on the TV Tropes pages of the Wind Waker (I think it was the "heartwarming" page).
Still, I do like what the author of this comic did. If only we got to see more moments of Link's family in the story (I consider WW Link distinct for having a close family, with the main plot heavily revolving around saving a family member).
Whoever voiced Link nailed the voice.

Oh my gosh this is too cute 🥹 I’ve seen my parents play Wind Waker many times and it’s one of my favorite Zelda games despite never finishing it by myself before and watching this is making me cry

Wind Waker takes place centuries after Awakening. Plus Marin wanted to be a seagull. It was her dream to fly.

If Marin got her wish to become a seagull that implies too heavily that the island was "real" and that she and all of the islanders were not "just" dreams .
So what was the wind fish lying or stupid and that he did not know he dreams magic super dreams ?
You are also not proving that Marin wanted to be a seagull FOREVER .
or that she was so callous as a person that she wanted to be a seagull even if that meant everyone else has to die .
As if she never wanted to see Link again after she was done singing for all the far away lands .
Also is not hyrule a far away land ?
You are in the middle of the ocean "all" land is far away land .
There is no legend of a magic singing seagull and ballet of the wind fish never plays in any of the other games to prove that the seagull ending is the real one .
Which means if you wanted to make a "it's just a dream" story then there should have been no wind fish at the end .
You hit your head and had a dream that's it Link wakes up and paddles back to hyrule .
You don't even see Link make it back to hyrule and that was like the whole point of the game .
For all we know Link dies on the raft ether way and the only difference is whether or not he is awake or asleep when he dies .
Also WHAT does the wind fish even dooooo ?
What great disaster is going to befall hyrule if he does not wake up ?
The nightmares only seem to want the island not destroyed .
There is no part 2 of there plan .
because if any part of the plan is "and then we will become real and rule the world muhaha" it makes the whole "the dreams have to die" part of the story make no sense .
It makes it seem like the nightmares are the good guys for trying to stop you because they just don't want to die .
Making all there fighting you self defense .
In the official lyrics to ballad of the wind fish all of the pronouns used makes it seem like it's Marin singing the song .
It seems like Marin hit meta awareness after chapter 6 when you find Marin on the bridge

You hookshot acrossed to save her and then she has a hard time er umming the next lines .
See it seems like both the nightmares and the owl are lying to you but the only lie Marin did was a lie of omission.
You know because depending on context ether Marin tried to break the barrier on the island herself so she could go see the world or MARIN JUST TRIED TO KILL HERSELF TO SAVE YOU FROM BEING TRAPPED IN THE DREAM!
So whether or not Marin was meta aware or not is kinda important.
Was Marin not a dream or is the real ending the one where she dies disintegrated into nothingness with her last words being "I at least want to be remembered" and then no one in cannon ever saying her name again proving,no ever that 1/2 sliver of a wish didn't come true.
I like how this happens 2 times in the lore too .
In phantom hourglass Linebeck escapes the dreams as a person and it only takes till the next game to prove he did OK .
Linebeck III exists in spirit tracks as Linebecks grandson .
@@eduardomagana3858 wind waker and awakening are in seperate timelines wind waker takes place in the future of ocarina of time, link's awakening is in a alternate timeline where link died fighting ganon in oot.
