You're currently my favorite fishing content creator. There's been channels that have, for whatever reason, come and gone but yours is the one that I keep getting excited when a new video pops up. Thanks for being so informative in your vids, and bring us great content.
No bs, no acting, no clickbait, informative insight into his fishing process, usually got some beautiful Cali mountain backdrops. Hard for him to not be a favorite!!
Greg and sobi are best of the best
I agree! Between Greg and ndyakangler they’re both the fishing content creators I watch all their videos.
I laughed so hard when you said "I almost lost another GoPro" and a picture of Coach popped up 😂 classic
hahah he'll never live that down
That cracked me up too 🤣
Greg out there catching fish with the jig and didn’t even notice he didn’t put the line back through the reel eye lol got to love it!!
catching bigs while still being a total rookie😂
I don't know how you don't have a million subs already. I feel like I can relate more to you than all of these other fishing content creators who just shows a good fishing day only. You show it all!!! The bad days, the okay days, and the most EPIC DAYS!!! It's good to see progress and its also good to see a slow day turned into a great day with just one awesome catch to end it all that makes the day a bit more worth it. I got into kayak fishing because of you greg! Keep ROCKIN!!
Thank you sir! CZcams is pretty much my fishing "journal" and I'm fortunate to be able to share it with this community
I get why he doesn’t, and I don’t like that reason. Find a good channel fishing channel with a million subs that isn’t built on stupid gimmicks, and clickbait titles or have a professional filming/editing team. Greg’s channel is about his journey fishing, and I’d rather see that than a group of young bucks making a bet over who is gonna eat the bait if they lose a bet, acting immature, and making it more about showing off than actual fishing. I’d rather Greg keep doing what he’s doing and keep it real.
I really appreciate the bloopers. It’s nice to see even superheroes make mistakes. Love the content as always.
Time to wake and bake and grab a cup of your finest blend. It’s time for another banger!!! Class is in session. Thanks Greg for sharing the knowledge.
Tight lines brother!
Being from NY as well I can't freaking wait each year for these videos. Always counting the days down waiting for the first upload in ny just so exciting for me and love seeing some great bass being caught in ny as well.
Greg you truly are the gonzella of big bass fishing 🎣. You never disappoint me!! 🎉🎉
Greg thank you do much for sharing your day on a beautiful and amazing lake today. It was so much fun seeing you bring in those huge fish in the boat. I can understand your love and passion for fishing is shown through your videos in practice as well as in tournament because you had amazing Father and Grandfather experiences that they shared with you growing up, so blessed to have that upbringing! You have amazing support from fans all over the world who follow your journey your lows and your highs because they recognized their really is no other bass angler who is equally or close to your level of fishing experience than you sir. I have been so inspired by every video I’ve watched and just look in awe! Tight lines sir thank you so much take care and God bless!
Boy it's great when you find that magic lure! Thanks for taking us along! Nothing better than old stomping ground!! Good times! Thanks
Gray, I love how u show your baits at the begining.. That's my hardest hurdle everytime I hit bass pro shops, or my local tackle store is trying to decide what baits to buy.. thanks for taking the time to show us that.. love your content brother... ! ! !
You bet, John!
It's officially on my bucket list to go to Cayuga now
Love the ‘Coach’ pic pop up when talking about the lost GoPro 😂
😂😂😂
Love how you skip those docks! 💪
And he didn't slow mow them tho 😢 we seen em 👍 🍻
Booyah! In WA state we have the same deal right now. Couple lakes out here that are crystal clear water. I've been getting some decent fish with the weightless wacky rig senko. Actually, my pb smallmouth at 4.45 lbs was off the wacky rig. Keep going to Cayuga if the fishing is good! Why not? Lol Great video GB. Appreciate the hard work and the great videos. Keep em coming, tight lines
I can see why you love that fishery! The fish are super thick and healthy. Thanks for sharing your fun!😃
It's always awesome to see you fish other areas away from California.
i definitely enjoy the mix up
@@GregBlanchardFishing I know you do! It shows in your energy in those videos. I moved from Texas to Southern Missouri 2 years ago and it's been great adapting to the new area.
@@GregBlanchardFishing Also, I really enjoyed the fact that you talked about fishing those areas with your grandpa growing up as a kid. You're 100% genuine and it's appreciated.
Good stuff GB. What a doozy with these back to back uploads lol.
That sure is some beautiful looking country out east. Thanks Greg.
I got to work on my jig game, that morning dock fishing looked epic!
the tiny coach when you said i almost lost another go pro was amazing
died laughing at that part
😂😂😂
Thank you for going after hogs and cruising thru some heady spots with heady beats flowing. Your the man. Cheers
Epic indeed‼️ So funny that I go out to the garage and watch you kayak fishing while the hubs is in the house watching deep sea fishing 🎣 Great day on the lake for you!!! 96 bag is awesome 👏🏼
Wow Greg, I don't remember in the past 4 years it being this good over there. That's awesome. Great job and great video. Thank you for sharing all those bites with us.
Thanks Scott! thanks for coming along
Decent deal on the deeper package 📦 thanks Greg!
Spent my morning watching your latest adventure while snacking on Taquitos. That bass missing a chunk out of its head - yeech! I instantly thought of a lamprey 😫 A few times I couldn't resist yelling at the TV, "Stay on!" LOL But you're right, there's no other place like Cayuga 😊
Happy you got your fabulous five! Thanks again for a great show!
Thanks Greg for another great N.Y. trip. Fishing is good up north. Beautiful, healthy big boys, and girls! 💯 🛶 🎣
It's crazy how consistent the finger lakes are in May. In Louisiana, I believe May is by far the most unpredictable and tough time of year.
Great place to fish. Reminds me of the days I fished the lake Onterio, South Sandy Pond and Black River area.
Great video man! What an awesome bunch of catches. Clear water is tricky for me, but I'm glad you figured it out.
Love the slow mo sounds when you boat flip em 😂👊
Greg! Great content! Always look forward to when you post! Those New York Bass are big and healthy!
If I was rich and retired I think I would move on up to the finger lakes just because of your videos Greg. Amazing beautiful area.🙂🍺👍
Hell yeah, love the NY series. Hitting up Cayuga in a few weeks, hope to find a few of those thick girls!
If I can catch a 20 inch Bass, I would probably retire from bass fishing. lol. 🤣
One of these days you're going to have to go on a Smallie Hunt down the lake a bit, maybe towards Sheldrake or Dean's Cove. There are small jaws as big and bigger than those greenbacks you've been catching.
definitely!
That osprey wanted those fish you where catching. Would not be quiet about it. 😂
Nice fishing there Greg. Got the itch to get out myself today. Cheers from Michigan
Man, that lake has some nice bass in it, great googly moogly.
What an absolute 🔥 video!!! Way to go GB!
Hobie has a tourney there this weekend. June 1 and 2. Your video is timely for folks who are fishing it.
Been waiting all day for this. Finally Greg nation
😂 poor dutcher he won’t ever shake that go pro off
never😂😂😂
2 videos in 2 days?! Hell yeah, LFG BUDDY!!
Loving the sounds of nature
Loving the amount of videos, and seeing these tanks of bass!
Awesome video Greg!
If you need a video idea for the off season id love to know your story like how did you end up living in texas and california when your family is in new york
Learned a lot from your video. Thanks
That lake looks fun. I'd love to fish someday.
I would have loved throwing a spinnerbait. Great video Greg, what a day.
My my, the fish up there are such quality! Except the Bass Hole fish, of course! Nice video.
I always cut off about 8ft of line after an uncertain catch just for safe measures. Lesson learned
My friends and I have turned your “Oh my God” into a drinking game ❤❤
Wow Greg you killed it out there lol. What a great day I'm jealous lol. I think you had 90 inches before 10am lol. Yeah and that fish with a chunk out of his head ,that was from a propeller. Sometimes this happens because trolling motors there props are designed to be quiet. Great day. I think the overcast is what made them go so shallow, if it would have been bright out that wouldn't have happened. Thanks for the video bro can't wait for the next one.
Very healthy fish, football style, you got to love it!
Awesome content like always gerg .after u broke off looks like I didn’t run it line thru ur reel guide looks like it goes over the reel.still great content
Yessssssssir love the early morning posts!!
Fire Catches Brotha!. You Should Try Out Some Of The Lakes Over Here In Socal. A Video At Puddingstone In San Dimas Would Be Cool 🤘
It always surprises me that the finger lakes arent loaded with smallies when i watch your NY vids
Alway great stuff, i did see your line is not though the eye on your reel, done this myself.
let’s gooo bouta watch this on the way to school!
Man those fish are built like tanks!
Reminds me of your “ magical dock video”😁👏👏👏👏👏
haha funnily enough i haven't caught a fish off that dock a couple years
I've been guilty of thinking northern bass couldn't ever get "big"--nature has proven me terribly terribly wrong,.
Now that’s a good day of fishing.
Nice bag!
Try a 6-7 inch glide around those docks. Something shad or green color
Dude that place is like the east coast Clear Lake. Those things had some dang shoulders!
totally! i always tell ppl in cali that the finger lakes is like fishing clear lake when the bite is on
Beautiful place
Have you ever thought about trying to get the crew (or at least part) to go out to NY with you? Think it would be great to see “dark horse derby” in NY with that quality of fish!
I snuck out last night slammed some monsters, cayuga is crazy right now
i would freak having this day!
I gotta get up to New York sometime
8:40 looks like a bird tried to scoop him up and he got away….
I wanted to comment how amazing your content is and noticed everyone else shared the same opinion lol. It's not a lie man. You're the best fishing channel!!💯... Question.. do you just turn camera on and go with it or have "takes"?? (Intro/outro specifically)Either way you're talented man and everyone thanks you greatly. Again THANK YOU SIR!!🎣🎣🎣
I think your new york fishing is better than any cali vids.. That's just me but those fish are more consistantly bigger.
There is a tourney on Cayuga. Thought you would have done it. It’s this weekend
I'll meet ya in NY next time, f it. Gotta get up there. 😂
Finesse is my bread and butter.
I know you love that p-line tactical but if you wanna try some tough high quality florocarbon then get you a spool of 17 pound seaguar abrazx I catch tons of toothy fish and bass stuff very seldom gets knicked up def my personal favorite forsure and for the record p-line is my second favorite so no hate towards p-line just think the abrazx is a little tougher
I didn't hear you mention the water temps and several of those fish looked pre-spawn. I'm wondering if they were up in those shallows getting ready...
Besides tumor fish.... all of them are so healthy
Talk about the definition of Footballs 😂.
✌️👍 grey in the video it looks more like that bass had a wound on his head like it was hit by a propeller then a sore or a growth of some kind?????
Yo man awesome vid what was the date your recorded this video ?!
That whole area was chocolate milk last weekend for the Hobie event. =(
If skunked, is it Wolffy’s Grill time?
15:55 can see the line tighten up on the bite🥲
Hi Greg, do you ever fish muddy bottom lakes with little structure? I’m curious to know what your strategy is for lakes/reservoirs like that
I need to take a road trip to the finger lakes. What is that white thing you knocked off your rear GoPro?
Have you ever had a situation where are you take the fish off the hook and throw the hook over the side into the water that the jig or bait you are using gets hit while taking care of the other fish?
U need a scale and a net up there lol. The short handle yak nets from cabelas are like 20$.
Nets are for kids 😉
@@dontnonowuno9953 lol im fine with that im not losing any toads eithrr 🤣.
Anyone else notice the line on his jig rod isn't through the reel's line guide after the blooper ar 17:20 😂
Fishing day dreams !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In general how is the fishing in the Finger Lakes region vs say the Adirondacks?
Going to have to give you a new name the GoPro Hammer swing baby swing
Are these northern strain bass or introduced Florida strain. If northern you are catching some great fish.
Pretty sure that was a sea lamprey bite
Do you think the lack of flex/stretch in that fluorocarbon line cause that to break off?
