I love this. What an amazing singer/songwriter. His music makes everything better.
Gregory Alan Isakov sure is something special
This is forever my favorite version of San Fransisco-something about the fast strumming does it for me.
I am listening to this song after having returned from CA to Sweden and I literally can't overcome it. It's one of those very rare occasions, when you discover a song that you want it to follow you forever.
awww, i'm in cali and I go to san fran for concerts and stuff regularly. i wanna visit sweden someday!
Hey guys, I'm a big Isakov fan and put together a cover of one of his songs when I was in Sweden. Hope you like it! Thumbs up so others can see this!
Everything about this man and his music is so natural to me.
So soothing, it suits my favorite city "by the bay"... a beautiful salute to San Francisco AND to Gregory Alan Isakov.
prefer this to the studio version, wow!
I'm not crying, you are
this is precious.
A most excellent tune and awesome music artist 😊❤️🎶☀️
Possibly his greatest song! Missing the cello in this version tho.
I love these men.

love it. love him. the violin part makes me melt everytime :)
This guy is great, reminds me a lot of Dylan
i wish i could be there!
Just perfect :-)
very much indeed
well done, well done... nice blending of the instruments
the moon sees everything..
wow
can I get through
like the moon gets through
across the sea...
who's the fiddle player?
Susan... have you tried google, at all, in the months since your first post? Jeez. It's so easy to figure out who it is on your own that I'm not even going to bother helping.
Some people just assume that everyone else is here at their beck & call to answer questions they are too lazy to find the answers to themselves. Demanding, self-absorbed, self-involved, but unfortunately~ not self-taught.
musickluvrr I guess I'm just a stupid person. I spent 10 minutes on Google trying to figure out who might have accompanied Isakov at house concert in Colorado four and a half years ago without success.
Frankly, this is such a wonderful piece of music that the level of snark it engenders in the comments kinda puzzles me.
Ac Smith I doubt that you're "stupid." It took me 3 minutes to come up with "Jeb Bows" although I did have to search a couple of different places. I probably was being "snarky" because of the demanding tone of Susan's questioning. But you're right, there was no cause for it. I apologize.
Well said, and well met musickluvrr.
It's a rare treat on the interwebs these days to find someone willing and able to step back and take a breath.
Respect for that.
Oh, and thanks for the info on the fiddler.
Ac Smith Well thanks~ it's true, we should all strive to keep things in perspective, but we all have our less than stellar moments. I guess I needed a reminder that when it's all said & done, we come here to find & listen to good music, not to take out our frustrations on strangers. Now I just hope the info I gave you was correct, lol. Best wishes to you.
