Yeah I'm a big proponent of "here learn the basics and go play around a bit" I think 🤔 after that looking at some replay references should be enough to claw ahead ! Thank you for understanding the concept 💞
Cool guide! It felt kind of weird that focus fire did LESS damage than rapid fire, but it’s just something I had to get used to. 😅

Rings are created when RAPID shotting enemies, and sucked in when FOCUS (the lock on shot).
Once they are sucked in or collected, the amount of rings sucked in determines the gems that you get when you kill the next enemy with FOCUS shot.
Once you let go of focus, the cycle resets.
Practice on stage 1!
@@AKTANEARCADE I see, and the enemies bullets are turned into rings or gems if they are within the exploding enemy's sprite right?

So I actually rebound f2 to something else and dont know how to access the dip switch menu, do you know what the setting is called in retroarch so I can rebind it?
You're using RetroArch Mame or FBA? Either way on my Miyoo Mini Plus it's called "Diagnostics" that allows me to bring up the menu!
