When I first saw this I of course didn't get it. But my mom was watching with me and cracking up and I couldn't understand why at the time. lol
That's how it was for me. I knew they were parodying the Beatles but I had no clue about Yoko Ono and was just laughing my ass off at her bad singing. Imagine my shock when I found out from my folks, "Yeah, that's pretty much what happened."

It's always funny when you learn about something through a parody of it, and then you see or hear the original and realize that it is just as bad as the parody. Southpark once did a parody on ghost hunter shows in which they showed a bunch of people walking around a house with flashlights saying "Did you hear that? Did you hear that?". I did not believe that there could be a show that dumb, but then I watched one and that's exactly what it was.

I always thought Wakko was supposed to be Ringo, but in this George sounds more like him...
Jeff Bennett was the replacement voice for David Tomlinson in the restoration of *Bedknobs and Broomsticks.* That movie also makes reference to The Beatles when the undersea band in the animated sequence made an octopus the drummer. And when the main human characters get to the land part of Naboombu, the Sailor Bear who caught them and cost them their dance trophy (essentially breaking up the act) that they would not have been able to bring home anyway responds, “People?
