it’s weak
Its a weird comment but theres something that I love about the way the cars are presented in this selection screen.
Not just the startup noise when you select each car, and the cars descriptions but the way each car is viewed at a fixed 3/4 angle, low to the floor, with the front wheels turned to the right so you can see the wheels in its entirety. That coupled with the dark backdrop makes each car feel truly special and the whole selection screen atmospheric. Theres not a single car in this game that you dont want to drive with this kind of presentation.
The added taglines for each car is an extra plus as its actual taglines for some of the cars. Hot Purusit 2010's car selection screen and the way each car is presented is something that I think is sort of missing in the later iterations going into the current title Unbound.
Thats the thing that I honestly love about the game the most is how they present each car compared to other NFS titles and even other racing games. I would love if something like the horizon series adopted this style of presentation for each vechicle.

How Hot Pursuit can have such a brilliant collection of cars to choose from and the following game, Most Wanted, have such a limited collection.

I think they gave Most Wanted 2012 what previous nfs games had which is freedom and I think they over did It.Also It lacks customization which is something It needs to have if It's going to claim the name as the Most Wanted 2.

Actually most wanted had an awesome collection of cars, it had a lot more classic cars which were sort of missing from hot pursuit.

Out of all the racing games I've played, this one still has the best car models I've seen so far. If only Forza or Gran Turismo could get them this accurate.

handling?... its an arcade racer you're not going to get that "I'm really driving a supercar" feeling in my opinion

I prefer the old design of car selection screen instead of the new design from the remastered version. The old version seems like you're in a warehouse while the remastered version feels like in a showroom

@@bonosafk9657 depends on the track/race if its a top speed oriented race then the Diablo can stretch its legs possibly even beating it in twisty tracks the Diablo loses because its clunky.
@@bonosafk9657 were talking about the Diablo SV its more lighter and powerful than a normal diablo the thing accelerates faster than the M3 GTR as far as i believe the brakes should be on par if not better since the Diablo SV uses F1 brembo based brakes. And could possibly avoid traffic and high speed corners better. The SV can challenge the freaking CLK GTR on a race so the M3 GTR wouldn't be different if not maybe a bit slower than the CLK GTR.
@@bonosafk9657 i do agree here it also depends what M3 GTR it is if its the one from the prologue in most wanted then it could be a good battle but against the later one which was upgraded by razor then the M3 GTR stomps . But by the looks of it i have overglorified the SV an diablo GT or an later 6.0 VT could do better but the m3 gtr would still come on top. Unless the Diablo was an GTR SV/R or the aforementioned GT1.

NFS HOT PURSUIT 2010 imo, is another NFS masterpiece that sadly NEED FOR SPEED never gonna match again.

Mw2012 is good too. But it's not mw. It's something like hp with free roam. And one of the best game when it comes to sounds. Still love it. And shift 2 is good too but it's like forza motorsport imo. And it's so enjoyable and has good sounds. So imo last good nfs' are that two games.

I feel the Porsche 918 should've been in the exotic class. I get that the car was still a concept back in 2010, but it's supposed to be faster than the Carrera GT.
Since it was a concept they weren't really sure about the speed so they were going with the estimated numbers available at the time

In fact, both SLRs were cut from the game. But I don't understand why. Okay, sure, the Stirling Moss edition of the SLR, I can understand. It wasn't one of my favorites, but I certainly didn't dislike it. But to remove both? I don't understand that. In fact, if you include the Cop car selection, in the remaster, there's a total of 3 cars that were in the original, but were for some reason not in the Remaster. Those being the Carbon Motors E7, the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 edition, finally, the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss.

This game was absolutley perfection one of the best nfs if not THEEE best the only thing it needed was a little customization.(but its a remake of hot pursuit 2) so i understand. But this game needs to be backwards compatible. Awesome and easy drifting mechanics. Every single modern car in 2010 all the way from sesto elemento to reventon to even gumpert apollo s. Just truly insane
