My parents divorced when I was 4. They could not have told me any of this stuff if I'd asked. I never knew any of this stuff til the internet introduced me to Rabbi Friedman. In my 30s now, 2 kids. Relationship definitely did not start properly. But we are trying to correct ourselves together. Idk if its possible, but seems to me its necessary for our childrens' sakes.
Sometimes, when you're in a dark place and you think you've been buried when in actuality you've been planted. The fact that you are both willing to work on the marriage is a great sign.

If his wife also holds back, how do you know all of each others hidden talents?
If you don't share things the other can't help at all.
But if you share the situation, there could be a possibility that the other person thought of something that could help that the other person hadn't even considered.
Or knows someone who could help.
Idk seems like a marriage should be a partnership and you should share the good and the bad.
How do you know, for sure, they can't help if you don't, at least, ask?

Thank you, this is great advice, as a single Jew, I'm looking for a Jewish women and now I more tips to not shoot myself in the foot. I'm always trying to make a good impression and you gave me the wisdom to drop it and just be myself. I'm a bit of a nerd and women will have to like it or not, it is the way it is.

About not telling your spouse....this may lead to one being agitated or unsettled and the spouse not knowing why, and worrying even more. It may vary from person to person. Some women can handle it and would be much calmer and happier knowing what's going on, and of course, some men can do a good job of hiding things. There may be times when it's better to speak and times when it's better to keep quiet. I question the wisdom of this advice given as "universal".
I converted into Judaism and I'm not your average Jewish man I have long hair iam a metal head so I wear jeans and band t shirts but I'm a hard worker a good father I raise my son who has autism all by myself he is now 22 and doing great I wad worried for so long no Jewish woman would ever like me or be interested in me but I decided anyone worth my time will see the very religious and faith full hard working family man I really am not just the tough hard exterior mask I have worn my whole life to protect myself. I found a good Jewish woman have been dating for a few weeks I'm hoping it really goes somewhere I like her I just hope she likes the real me as well
