- Today I found sets that lego cancelled and almost made like lego among us, lego shrek, lego disney and other rare most wanted lego sets.

I'm still so disappointed that your Ed & Edna's Junkyard set wasn't made. I'd love to see a Lego Ideas Ninjago set someday, but I doubt it will ever happen.
Most of these franchises are owner by large companies with the copyrights, but I don't think they would mind Lego promotion for their shows.

Lego Ideas started out back in the day as a great way to get new and unique sets, but back then only like 6 or 7 sets would make it to 10k votes to get reviewed. Now Lego Ideas is just more frustrating than anything since like 28-40 sets will get reviewed and 38 to 40 of them will get rejected. It just makes it feel like we are missing out on more even though Lego is releasing likely more ideas sets than ever. Maybe they should raise the vote threshold to 20k or something.
That or make a second voting round of the most supported ideas.
Or maybe LEGO will have to narrow down the projects to make the rounds smaller and not too large.
I think those sets weren't made because there was a 1000 votes for them, but LEGO needed the licence to make them. So, it's understandable that these sets never got made.
The only reason i think lego won't make these sets is one thin

Nah, biggest disapointment was the Thunderbird 2 got rejected after reaching 10k. It was designed by Andrew Clark who also did the Dr Who set and Flinstones set.

Of all of these, I would love to get the Ratatouille set the most. It's so detailed, faithful to the film and would look nice on display. Lego have already collaborated with Disney loads in the past, so I don't see why this one keeps getting rejected.
I'd also be overjoyed if we got a Polar Express set at some point.
I like collecting all the older movie sets like hocus pocus and home alone, im suprised that they didn't do a Grinch christmas lego set that would be so good.
There was an actual official Lego Phineas and Ferb set planned for release however it got cancelled.
It wasn't a set with mini figures it was one of those bored games lego used to make and it would include a Perry the Platypus made of legos. The Instructions are available online but no one knows how to play the game. The set number is 3868
Anyone else wish we got a wave for Crystalized part 1? There were so many cool scenes they could've done, but didn't. Like a vengestone truck, the truck the ninja stole the staff from, even a new kryptarium prison.

Worse thing they every did was remove that one Lego website where you can design your own Lego set and they give you the pieces and instructions to build it. I miss that
i think the reason they won't make the krusty krab is that they broke the contract with nickelodeon and don't have rights to make lego spongebob sets anymore

If there’s one I get it’s the crusty crab, mainly bc the SpongeBob license is currently being held by mega, so it makes sense why they didn’t approve the project
I’m pretty sure the reason why Lego won’t make spongebob sets is cause mega blocks still owns the license to make the sets

I used to think Lego was against money but seeing as they finally listened to the StarWars fans and r now making all these clone legions as well as a bunch of named characters we never got before(coming as extras in 25th anniversary sets) I must say, they r heading in the right direction. A few years from now they will be on top again. Just give em a lil time

i think its because lego needs the license to make stuff into lego and stuff they made before for example Spongebob Squarepants, lego started making sets of the show but than lost the license that went to Megabloks.

The reason for these is because these are all copy righted concepts Lego can't just make a set based on anything they have to make sure it's nothing grusomes like seeing the inners of a body and in order to make a set based on properties they don't own like phineas and ferb or gravity park they need permission from the rightful owners of those properties
