For anyone asking about how to remove the lid on the new design, I reached out to the company and heard back: "With this model the only item that is removable is the steam vent. Typically, to clean the lid you would wipe down with a damp cloth or paper towel."

How do place the steamer release for slow cook and rice cook. Also my drip catcher was missing. Need replacement
FYI, Quinoa is pronounced keen wa.
The rice cup that comes with it is actually equivalent to 3/4 C. So if you buy at a yard sale or lose your cup now you know! Plus it showed it in the video when he was looking at the instructions.
I just got one of these. Added 2 cups rice and the appropriate amount of water. Turned it on and pushed white rice. It ran for like 15min then beeped like it was done and switched to “keep warm”. Opened it up and the machine was barely warm. Water wasn’t even boiling/steaming. Rice had not cooked at all 😢
Did I get a crap unit?
I'm curious to ask how long these cookers will last for?
Also, can you cook other stuff in them to like a hot pot?
Mostly just hoping to get a lot of mileage out of this and have the same model.
