I have some Java moss. It’s in my betta tank with shrimp. And provides lots of hiding places so they can stay safe 🙂

We recommend looking into what caused the hair algae and fixing it! Then, manually remove as much of the algae as possible. It may take a few weeks, but you can get back on top of it! 💪

To my knowledge, Vesicularia Dubyana is actually identified as "Singapore Moss", technically not java moss which is Taxiphyllum Barbieri. They are definitely 2 different plants but with the same common name. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Slowly and meticulously! We recommend looking into what's causing the hair algae (nutrient imbalance? too much light?) and manually removing as much of it as possible.
