Turning Characters into Dice - Jancy True!

- Jancy True? It's true! Here's the last video in my series making dice based on characters from Drawtectives. In this one I'm making a set based on a character played by the game master, Jancy True. Join me as I walk you through my thought process on making a set of fanart dice, and stick around if you want to see more fanart dice in the future! I plan on expanding to some other pieces of media once I'm done with this set of videos, so if you have ideas for what I should make dice based on next, let me know in the comments :)

Thanks! I realized that I should have mentioned in the video that the angular shapes are very Julia's style, and I never did. Glad other folks agree :D
oh perfect timing, i just finished my drawtectives rewatch last night 💕 stunning set!
I knew from the thumbnail that this set would be stunning. And I was proven right. The clear shell causes darker cores especially to pop visually. Even more so when there are colorful details like here. Beautiful. What series will the next set be about?
I've got a couple of miscellaneous videos I'm working on, and then it's on to some Empires SMP inspired dice :)
This whole process is immensely satisfying to watch, especially popping them into the numbered molds.
Edit: It'd be interesting to see dice based on planets in the solar system! (Yes, that includes Pluto. Pluto deserves love)
I did dice based on the planets a while back before I did CZcams :D. Lemme see... I still have a few sets from that theme up in my shop here: alchemists-attic.com/collections/may-22-shop-update-solar-system-theme And don't worry, Pluto did get some love, too ;)

Bob Ross dice would be fun! I kinda want to try doing an actual painting of his, like, on a canvas, on a stream sometime, too :D. Dragons is always a classic, as well.

I'd love to see some dice based on characters from Drawga. And just to give a non-Drawfee suggestion, maybe Ace Attorney? They could either be based on characters or cases

Words don't do justice (pun intended) to how dazzling these came out! I had no idea how many steps went into dice making! You have such a nice balance of narration and breaks of music too 💜👁️🔎
Aw, thanks! I'm still figuring out how I want to balance the talking vs the music, so I'm glad it feels natural :)
this is so cool
Just from a visual standpoint, it looked like you were struggling a bit with the paints. I suggest for delicate work such as freehanding on dice to use miniature paint. In case this is miniature paint, then maybe it just looks hard to cover. Anyway, they came out amazing, might be my favorite of the series.
Yeah, miniature paint would probably flow better. I was just using some of the same acrylic paint I use to ink my dice, lol

Hello, love the Drawtectives dice set. Looking for a new dice series to do? are you familiar with Deerstalker Pictures out of Australia? They have some great D&D videos on youtube with the "1 for all" series, and a dice set based on these characters would be great. If you are unfamiliar with them "Bardic Insperation" is probably their best video, If you like Drawtectives you'll probably like these guys.
