    This concept is what made a stagnant APA 6 turn immediately into a high percentage 7. Super powerful information. Great video

    First time I’ve ever understood what someone was saying about that elusive tangent line! Great, Great, video!

    This the best video on pool technique that have ever seen and I’ve seen hundreds if not thousands! 12:21 am, Sat!

    Appreciate your excellent video…very easy to understand for a beginner like me; also I can see how useful your concepts are in developing one’s game…thanks again, Sir!

    Al, I've seen many, many videos on the game of pool (next best thing when you have no coach).
    This is such a great explanation of a tangent line and how to use it. Thank you so much! This video made me subscribe to your channel. Looking forward to see many more!

    I love this video… as a beginner I immediately understood the concept. Really well explained. Thank you so much.

    Great tutorial. I usually use top ir side to avoid scratching and to advance down the table so now I know why Ive been doing it and can stop. 😂 This is so much more effective to try to project your next shot and control the game.

    it's just a stun shot, further away from the cue ball it becomes a stun screw then a screw then a deep screw, very simple stuff in snooker.

    great video its also worth noting the tangent line never moves. i have played with higher level players that think if you use bottom to change the path of the cue off the object ball, that new path is your tangent line. tangent line is always a 90 degree angle from the pocket

    Most comprehensive and well explained tangent line I've seen and heard. Thank you. Would love to obtain the stencil you are using for training purposes.

    This is a brilliant video as per al.. legend mate.. I already use this kind of system but it’s still a great review of basics for me and anyone else no matter what level they’re at

    Great tangent line tutorial, Al! You have so many excellent videos. I appreciate your knowledge in physics and geometry. If we're going to play pool, we all need to know this basic info. Thank you for your contribution to the billiard community! Keep up the great work my friend!

    The ray of light going into the prism on the Pink Floyd shirt is not a 90 degree angle so thus, NOT a tangent line 😅
    Awesome video & great explanation! 👏👏☺️

    That's alright but if you play on a bar table the cue ball weights more that the object ball it's still close but it does affect the angle of the travel of the cue ball

      Sliding cb will still follow Tangent Line.
      However, spin on a differently weighted cb may be different, yes.

    Al, you put out good practical information.
    From watching the cb tip positions, you get very good right or left spin. Are you doing anything with your grip hand to make the English take so well ?
    Thanks

    • @15DiamondBilliards
      @15DiamondBilliards Před 5 měsíci +1

      @@BigAlsBilliards I do that as well. It is something I am trying NOT to do myself! Old habits are hard to break.

    ugg why do you do all your videos in portrait???

    • @BigAlsBilliards
      @BigAlsBilliards  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Because about 90% of viewers watch on their devices in portrait mode. A small fraction watch on TV, or landscape on device. 😁
