@@maximoesco could be that one of the chemicals made him get INTO hair, and base from what you said, he doesn't have to be INTO hair, and just thinks he's doing good things, he couldn't properly think because he was probably traumatized, and it would be funny and logical if the reason why there's an entire institute was a thing because euctice mom had a lot of money to hire good lawyer to prevent law suits so everyone who has hair problems just had to shut up or something???
2:20 not really, a lot of people who went to a medical institution keep that badge in case they show signs of their condition showing up so people know who to call to help them.
I love the irony that the creepiest episode has one of the most harmless antagonist. Fred overall was just a nephew of Muriel who came for hollyday and was a well manered guest. I even believe that Eustace was the villain in this episode for locking Courage with Fred, it was because of it that Fred's mental condition started worsening. And when he is sent back to the asylum my boy just accepts it and doesn't try to run or anything. Fred was a good person at heart and being and adult you see how tragic his character really is.
I had a theory about why Fred says naughty, (it could be wrong) I feel like he calls himself naughty because he knows what he is doing but can't help it because it could be an impulse and when he calls other people naughty it might be referring to them "tempting" him to the point he can't control his impulse and shaves them This is just a theory
This episode was probably the scariest episode of Courage for me when I was a kid I realized later on while thinking abt it that there is no other way to describe this episode as anything but an analogy for sa
Fred always gave me weird vibes of someone who definitely should be locked up indefinitely. He is harmless in nature in comparison to the other villains of Courage but the dude has some.. fetish-y taboo thing going on with him. I dunno if his weird obsession of shaving things is an allegory for being into taboo shit or what. lol
With you pulling up the fact of there actually being a hair fettuce, i didn't even know there was a thing and i was thinking before you pulled it up on screen that considering that fred was a barber, maybe he had a weird fettuce for hair.
Is the word you're looking for called "Fetish" because, otherwise, "Fettuce" confuses me because it just sounds like you're describing a species of Lettuce.
I always saw this episode as a funny spin of a serial killer, never crossed my mind to connect it to anything sexual; and I didn't watched this ep as a kid, compensating for the time it took to dub it and start airing in my country, I'd say I was 17 or so.
He is just strange and with a mental condition. He seems to be a good person who visits his aunt and has a regresion when locked with Courage, if that wasn't the case I'm sure he wouldn't have cut Courage's hair.
I was already an adult when this episode came out, so I instantly knew what it was trying to say. It absolutely is a very clever allegory for child predators and how adults will often react when a child is trying to warn them someone is making them feel unsafe. The show is trying to warn children not to ignore that creepy feeling but keep reaching out for help if the adults around you won't do something. This show did such a fantastic job with such a heavy subject.
It isn't merreal, mother mother. It's eustace's mother that has the obsession with the wigs and hair
oops yes ur right idk why i said it was her mother.

You know you're bad when Eustace himself, calls you weird

true
@@Justachamp772 that is why it's the scariest because it's the most real

This is just a theory
think ur spot on tbh
My theory: he isn't a barber, he is a predator.
You are like a cartoon theorist like "once a legend ends a new one arrives".
I love how Fred doesn't really do anything bad, it's just his vibe that's off putting lol
He's an allegory for a sexual predator

I remember Fred was the only cartoon character that scared me as a kid.

Did you know this monsters what courage sees are actual people and that's why the owners newlver panicked to see those entitys

@LittleCosmicKobold oops. Yeah, sometimes I don't quite know how to spell certain words like peoples names for instance.
I see the narration more as a Mr. Seuss from Hell.
Fun fact: creator of Attack on Titan has a hair fetish
Naughty is the opposite of nice
Mario Isn't the one that has the mom obsessed with hair that's Useless Mother 6:52
But the end was really good that fish thooo
very very intresting

Its like scalping😂
That is my personal comfort character
0:58 😂😂😂😂😂
Only real mean know return the side
Btw naughty means mischievous mean
Meanwhile the scariest thing in this episode is the theme when Courage gets shaved..like
*_Laaaaa Laaa La Laaaa Laaaa, Laaaaa Laaa La Laaaaa Laaaa_*
Omg guys fred has a hair fetish
WAIT I DIDNT WATCH THE VIDEO FULLY I DIDNT REALIZE THEY ACTUALLY WOULD SAY HE HAD A FETISH-

Lu:❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤SO CUTE X HANSOME.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
HE IS MY FRIKIN HERO THANK YOU LOVE YOU.- lu😊
Kings Ramses be like: am i a joke to u 😭
Edit: i left this comment before the video started btw
The reason why he's so scary and off putting is because he's british
Freaky Fred Very Creepy The Creepiest Guy In This This Dude Saying Naughty Yikes!
Your theory is okay but doesn't make senses lol
One of the main reasons is bec the woman is eustaces mother
I hTe how people say fred is a rape/pedo allegory its not, not at all just a werido want to scare you

Please look at the vibes he gives 😖
Even as a child I could pick up on wtf was going on
@@Corvo0__0 As I child I wanted to kiss him, not everyone can tell or get those vibes lol
