I really hope FM Kang Kyung-wha be offered or elected the next UN Secretary General post after being FM of South Korea. She has what it takes if not even more.
I respect Dr. Kyung-wha Kang and Vivian Lee also, they are woman who paved the way that every ambitious woman want to follow.
for me, the fact that Dr. Kyung-wha Kang is a real Humanitarian cause when I took a class in my university, every professor seem to be Realist. They rarely admit the Humanitarian' motive for helping under-developed countries as a Humanist. How relieved part for me.

how ironic; the conversation was held by the name of the Korea society and all the speakers are able to speak Korea yet they wouldn't speak in their mother tongue.

It isn't ironic at all in that the Korea Society is an American compant as far as I 'm concerned. Moreover, there is a number of Korean-American whose Korean ability is not enough to comprehend literally Korean-spoken presentation talking about somewhat complicated topics like this even though you might have considered them as a Korean.
