riding the bike like that can foul plugs, and having the carb dialed in doesn't make a difference. If you want to ride slow, don't ride a race bike. Period.
That motor was loaded up with oil I could hear it big time you need to let that think open up like your trying to blow it up that’s how they are supposed to be ridden
@@wackem3089 you do you. You will likely foul a plug, but you can buy a plug cleaner for cheap. I kept it quite low in the rpms for the first week or so and it was 100% fine.

That's not true at all it could seriously fuck up the motor plus the bike can so easily over heat, especially on a two stroke it's made to be in the power band
I was just looking for a trail video cause I’m thinking about buying a 125 and the first video I click on is in sevens creek in Ohio lol I ride there every weekend
It’s a race bike yes but if try to ride it like a race bike on trails and hit a rut or a big enough rock to throw off your balance when you’re ripping you’ll wreck idc who you are lol 😂 bunch of track riders in the comment section
I also noticed not much feathering even while going slow. This makes me think highly of the bike and the rider. I expected the soft trail to be a big challenge for the YZ125. Also surprised the MX tuned suspension did well on that traill. Did you need to soften the forks a lot?
Great video bro, everyone thinks they are Jarvis in the comments but in reality they are making themselves look like a bunch of insecure kids. looking forward to more vids!
Xplosion ZzX I would recommend I 2 stroke on trails over a newer 4 stroke. I love my Rmz 250 but the yz125 was just so much lighter and easier to handle on the trails. Also you can add flywheel weights and other stuff to help the 2 strokes have a little more bottom end but with some good clutch control the bikes are a blast on the trails!
Xplosion ZzX i race motocross and enduro on a 2006 yz125, and I love it.... I’ve rode Everything from a 85-500 and the yz125 is the best bike I’ve ever rode
Nathan Elliott Because they are so much more fun to ride, especially when you learn how to ride a 125 on the pipe, and there is just something about a 125 in the enduro world that I love, I also have mine set up for straight enduro so that helps on the experience. Don’t get me wrong, I love ripping my yz250 but passing 450’s on a 125 with ease while they’re struggling cuz they either can’t handle the power, or because they’re too heavy, certainly puts a smile on my face haha.
Bro pull in the clutch damn. For one your engine braking like crazy, your going insanely slow so u need to slip the clutch to get that cylinder the proper lubrication. And it’s a two stroke ride in the damn powerband
It's fine they're not that fragile. Fuel and oil are being delivered. I had one I used to just cruise on all the time. Lasted years without needing a piston because I wasn't flogging it all the time. Lots of engine braking. The bike is running fuel is lubricating the cylinder. Engine braking for long periods at high rpm is a no go. Otherwise it's fine. As long as the carb is tuned properly it won't even foul the plug.
It’s not a 250 u can’t lug all the time u can’t do it at all no bottom end power all top end how many spark plugs do you go through in a day I’ll guess 5 cause damn u won’t get out of 1st gear
u only go through spark plugs when ur jetting is too rich smh or if ur only at like 3000 rpm the whole time this guy goes up to like 5000 6000 once in a while so its fine
On the dry spots he could have opened it up to clear the engine out for sure. To me mud riding isn't that much fun . ...you can slip out and fall on your face at any moment. .Most people aint going through mud at 40 mph.. With quads ,you just sit on your ass you aint falling down.
why tf are y going 2 mph
Can you atleast down shift

How is he going so slow with out clutching or stalling, on a 2 stroke no less.
I have a 2020 yz 125, on really technical stuff that's slow even then you have to try to kill it. You can bog the fuck outta those bikes, it is crazy.
Two strokes bog better than four strokes and they can go to lower rpms than 4t that’s why all pro enduro riders ride two strokes
@@dawkinschmidt7053 250 2t, there's a difference but true
The 125x is the enduro model which makes it so you can go up low rpm’s without stalling it🤣😀
