Lisa! You are a comforting force Lisa. If you had any idea how your videos have carried me through two medical crisis, depression, anxiety you would understand how the universe uses you to connect through love and calm. You are like a best buddy who is always there to talk girlie stuff and ultimately give me hope and feel better. You are appreciated and valued and loved.
Love a messy bun! So true, the best one (the one you like the most on yourself) is always the one you do in a hurry before taking a shower or cleaning the house.🌸
I was in my late teens early 20s in the 90s and I’m sooo excited this hairstyle is back! It was my go-to. I have fine hair so I just curled all over, ratted my hair a bit. Twisted and clipped. So fast and easy.
Wearing your hair up is very flattering on you. I enjoyed watching the various ways you accomplish the task. Those plastic clips look like a winner. Think I will be ordering some of those in the near future! Thanks for the effort and hard work you put into making all of your videos. I'm a fan!
You look beautiful with your hair up. The layers make all the difference. I'm definitely going to try this. I always feel like it has to be more "perfect" when I'm going out, but now I see that it doesn't need to be perfect. "Messy" is actually better!
I don't know how many darn videos I have watched on how to do a messy bun and just forget it. The directions were things like "go around twice with the rubber band, only pull hair half way through on the third round then wrap and pin. Yeah, sure. LOL Even with a video going I could never get it. What I like about yours it really is more simple which I think is super important for a messy bun. I like not using a rubber band - it always comes out too ballerinaish (new word) when I do that. Pretty lady as always. Thanks for the video. You work hard for us doing this stuff. Much appreciated
They did the same here in Canada to a Sally store. The same plaza that has a wal-mart so many other places around them very busy outside mall. You look like Pam they say we all have a look alike.
Great tutorial! I've been obsessed with this hair for years, my fav is the 2 method, also, did you end up trying with the French pin thingie? I got one but I never got it right, ugh, would love to see this updo with the French pin, didn't know Pam used to use those!
Gorgeous ~❤️ I literally have been doing my hair like this for years. I’ve always loved the messy bun look. I have had a lot of woman over the years ask me how I get the look. All I ever said was I don’t wash it for a few days & I will use a couple squirts of hair spray. Then just throw it up and pull out certain hair. But, I am blessed with thick hair so it helps ~🤗 your hair is gorgeous ~ ❤️
Lisa I love love this video! Finally my hairs long enuf to do this style! I took St Tropica vitamins & used WEN hair wash & let my hair grow & thicken up alot! I use oils, & serums. I'm loving the JVN hair serum ! I have several oils too. My hair is highlighted heavily. I ordered the nude clips in all 3 colors 2 of each color & I ordered the plastic clear pins in clear & brown. Thank you so much for the Links!! I like for the claw teeth to be flat to my head & these were. Most are pointed & wont stay flat on the scalp. Tfs
I’m loving the layers on you!! I typically get long layers and it gives me more volume automatically ❤❤ I loved the one you did in this vid before the last one - where you didn’t want to take it down. They were all good tho! So good. Thanks for taking the time to play and recording it for us!! ❤❤
Love this ! Lisa i would love recommendations for t shirt that well v neck and crew neck Great material too like rayon or cotton. I can’t wear cashmere cause of my excema :) i also would love a navy recommendation of outfits. Love love love Zara jeans ❤thank you for all you do for this old girl 🎉me!!
I’d love to see how you curl/handle those short front pieces. I’ll have to check through your other videos because I don’t think it was included in this one. I’m so excited about the styles you’re sharing and thank you for doing it. I’m in my mid 60s and for the first time in my life I’m trying to have a sexy hairstyle! It’s so much fun.
I love this soft look on you, one of my favorites. You're one of the original Pamys, Bridgets and now Lisa. 💖💥 Your's just radiates from the inside out. 🥰
Great pin up hairstyles! I am 74 and we used to wear our hair like that all the time and it always looked so Great Thank you for the beautiful hairstyles xoxo Rose 🌹❤️
I just found these great FLOCKED pins which add amazing grip you can get them in blonde or dark colors on amazon. Frenchies Ultra Flocked Extra Soft French Twist Hair Pins. Pam always seems to pull hair forward in pieces from the high point of the ponytail or where it's clipped up. It's an art for sure, made to look easy though. 😀
Your shower looks so similar to mine… tile and all, it we opted for the all glass. I keep wondering if we should have the pony wall built because I love the idea of putting the towel bars there. What do you think??
Lisaaaa I know what you mean about the Kure mask from amika!! Everyone was RAVING about it… and it was the most mediocre mask I’ve ever tried! That being said the shampoo and conditioner that go with that line are actually pretty good! So farrr the best masks have been from Moroccan oil , joico(damage defy mask is my fave but legit all of them are great) and the bumble and bumble invisible oil mask! GAME CHANGERS
Guess why that is why there are so many products. I LOVE the cure hair mask by amika and think its 100% better than the colleen Rothschild hair mask, that one was so mediocre to me.
@@LisaLisaD1 I tried both the Kure and the Soulfood masks...I think the Kure one is a protein mask so I don't find it very moisturizing but the Soulfood OMG, I think it's on par with Colleen Rothschild! (and Lisa, I have a hair texture like yours). It's the one in the orange tub :-)
That was FUN! You are SO right about how Good it turns out when you're Not trying lol. You did Good, and I need to find those big pins for all my hair too. I'm loving that this style is coming back. Thank you Brigitte and Pamela!! :)
Why in the world would they discontinue Ideal? That is my holy grail liner! Messy buns are tricky for sure. I rarely get it right on the first try. You’ve given me lots of new ways to try it. Thanks Lisa❤️
Like the effect you're getting. Your hair is beautiful but very long and I think taking it in section front, sides, then back would be helpful. My hair is mid shoulder blade length in the summer I have to wear it up and off my neck just too hot. I purchased different Kitsch claw clips and utubers have posted videos may help you achieve the look you're going for. Most are neater but can be made messy. Its a very sexy look.
I really love your new haircut! You look so beautiful. This video definitely helped me. I tried the 3rd way and it looked so good and worked perfect for me 🥰
If I had to wait to grow my short hair to your length, Jesus would have returned or the stars would have burned out. That's how short my hair is now and I hate it. But that Redkin Extreme Lengths shampoo and conditioner is well worth it. Second day of use and still very little fall out and is so soft even with product in it. I'm hoping it will help with growth, too. I'm going to find a different stylist, as well. Love, love, love your videos! You look fabulous and I love your eye makeup, too. Chanel taking a power nap. 😍
Lisa, I know you used to watch the Real Housewives, but have you seen the Miami ones on Peacock? I feel so bad for Lisa Hochstein. She's so beautiful too.(I think you need to pull more hair forward towards the bangs to finish it off.)
Be careful with natural oils for your blonde hair, like Argan oil, rosemary, even coconut etc. These natural oils put pigment into the hair strands and as it may be making it healthier, it also dulls down the blonde, bleach and any highlights. It took me years to figure this out. I'd pay a fortune to get a full head of foils, but kept putting oils in my hair everyday, and my hair would immediately go dull golden blonde and darker... and I would lose all that brightness I laid for. So sad. We have the same hair, thickness, length, and cut however mine is just a bit brighter blonde. My favorite for colored blonde products are Enjoy Luxury shampoo and conditioner, with their leave in conditioner creme and their hair & skin hair oil. Since switching to these, my hair is always silky, smooth, healthy and the blonde never fades with these products- I have that perfect bleach blonde color with blends of white blonde- not ash or cool toned blonde. I call it the ultimate beach playboy bunny blonde lol. I just love it! But it's these Enjoy products that saved my color and hair. If my scalp is really oily, I pre shampoo with nutriobiotic everyday clean normal to oily hair shampoo, then use the Enjoy luxury ones. The conditioner is sooo conditioning and creamy!
Lisa-gorgeous hair!! I did want to tell you that the best drugstore shampoo and conditioners/hair products I have found are John Frieda. I just got the Frizz Ease Replenish and Repair shampoo and conditioner to try this weekend and it's great! I have also used his blue shampoo to remove brassiness from my brunette hair. My hair is always smooth and feels comfortable--not dry out of the shower. You may look in to some of those products.
Lisa, you look beautiful with your hair up. I have always enjoyed jaw clips especially in the summer. To me, they are more comfortable than a ponytail which sometime give me a headache.
Love the updos!! I live in updos in the summer! So hot and humid and my hair is just so long I can’t take it 😂but I agree 💯 when you’re not trying it comes out perfect 😂the clear pins are fantastic definitely easier and better than Bobby pins got to order some!
