I was an extra in this movie. He seemed really nice. But, the part that I was in, we were there for probably 7 hours, and he seems very cranky. He never really talked to the crowd. He just told us to settle down. Bc there was some woman in her 30s screaming saying how much she loves him. 😅

My mom meet my dad and fell in love when they re 21 years old,after 5 months knowing each other, my mom was diagnosed with cancer and during her treatment my dad proposed to her😭 n they got married. N glad my mom survive..till now. But my dad just passed away 3 months ago. Mom still cherish him. This movie gonna touch me a lot. Especially when I watched theirs videos dancing together and celebrate birthday while my mom at the hospital.

Sorry, but crying at the drop of a hat is not an indication of a "soft heart", to use your reference to Jesus' plea to "harden not your hearts". What he meant by that was the acceptance of love into their hearts. This is very different from unchecked emotion. Love != emotion, my friend.
I am so happy that movies like this are still made. These days we only see nude movies movies without morals. I really miss movies like this with God in between.

Also, the comment suggests that today's films have "no morals" which is a generalisation and simply not true (there are many examples, i list them if wanted). As i looked at it though i can't help but think of the millions affected by Corona virus and don't have the love of those close by to comfort and encourage them. My prayer is the that their faith in God triumphs over fear and loneliness.

Thank you for that. Yes, having Covid is something I can't describe to you. I'm a survivor of Covid. My faith in Jesus helped me to survive. I'm now dealing with what it's left behind for me. I can barely walk, talk and breathe without gasping for air. I have a long road to recovery ahead of me. But my faith in Jesus is what helps!! I'm grateful for my support group ( Jesus, family, church and friends). So yes, no matter what we go through in life, JESUS IS WITH US during our trials.

However, that aside, in the context of the film itself, Apa is terrific and really makes the film shine. And while his singing doesn't resemble Camp's own much, his take on the songs is vulnerable and intimate and works very well in the context of the film. While I understand the desire for films to "get it right," I also respect that they can take liberties with appearance and the like. It's based on a true story, not a shot for shot documentary. So the "Jeremy Camp" of the film can look and sound different as long as he is a convincing character in his own right.

this is literally the saddest movie i have ever watched. I BAWLED MY EYES OUT. I have never done that. Even after it was over i was still crying. I am a 15 year old boy who doesn't cry and somehow this movie punched me in the gut. It is/was SO good and I highly HIGHLY recommend. I will be buying this when this comes out on dvd. there were so many tearjerking and emotional scenes, it was like rapid fire.

“If one person’s life is changed by what I go through, it would all be worth it” I feel this on a personal level. I’m a 21, almost 22, year old stroke survivor. I’ve since been seeing several doctors and underwent rehab. I sometimes think, why me? After talking to PLENTY of people though, I’m reminded is that people can have hope after seeing me make nearly a full recovery. I pray my story also helps point people back to God.

I just watched this movie today 😍 This is the first time that I’ve ever heard this testimony of Jeremy Camp and it inspired me so much to use the gifts that God has given me to inspire others and to point them to him in everything I do. In other words being intentional in everything I do because I never know who’s watching or listening. He has a plan for each and everyone of us. God is Amazing
My dad passed when I was 15 and I was very close with him and I went through alot of the same emotions Jeremy went through after his loss and my sister sang this song at my dad's memorial service. Had everyone in tears.

I was surprised to see that KJ Apa (my birthday twin) is in this movie about Jeremy Camp. I am just used to seeing him in Riverdale and not in a Christian film. I remember back in 2005 and I was going into 8th grade and my church's youth choir sang Jeremy Camp's I Still Believe. I hope many people will be changed because of this movie. Even the actors in the film.

The movie is actually sad but heartwarming
This was the first Christian movie that I've watch like alone and through watching this I always come back to watch more Christian movies....
I pray for a relationship like this. God is good! This is powerful. I know I'll be crying in the theaters at this. Wow!

Through the life and testimony of Jeremy Camp I could see how wonderful God is. Sometimes we doubt what He is capable of, but He always, I repeat, always shows that His plans are the best. Look at the life of Jeremy Camp and get closer to God right now. God bless them.

I love movies that bring such strong emotion, I could not stop crying. 😢 It always amazes me how some people could be so strong and have such strong faith specially going through cancer.

Just saw this movie tonight and..this is an amazing movie that tells such a beautiful and heartbreaking story that keeps you immersed the entire time, 9/10 a must see
This song gives me hope whenever I feel like all hope is lost. Been a fan of Jeremy camp for the longest time and I’m really looking forward to watching this movie although I know I’ll be crying for hours lol!

I agree but disagree since yeah KJ's voice is way too high but he still sounds good singing. However his acting looks pretty good in this and idk anyone who'd who'd fit the singing style but still have good acting skills
Yeah, Jeremy Camps voice should be deeper, to me it reflects the depth of his character and the pain of his story. KJ’s a good actor but maybe they could dub Jeremy’s voice over for the singing part
Just a fun fact, the other actor they were looking at was Zach Efron (I probably spelled the last name wrong), but when Jeremy met KJ he said he instantly knew it should be him because of how he was as a person, and how involved he was in wanting to learn more
I think Apa isn't really necessarily convincing as "Jeremy Camp" the real person. But as a performer playing a film, he is definitely very good at "Jeremy Camp" the character. This is a film, after all. It's telling a story. So even if the guy they got isn't really similar to the real Camp in physical or vocal likeness, he does the story being told justice with his performance. IMO, that's a bigger priority than just getting a lookalike.
I've watch the movie I can only imagine and how it touch me that I cried so much, it's great to see Christian artist sharing their life story to inspire, hoping there are more artist out there just like Bart Millard and Jeremy Camp who is willing to share theirs through movies like this❤️❤️❤️ Awesome movie! Yep, I’m going to be a mess just like I was with the book. This song entered my life at a time I needed it most. At the end of eighth grade, I lost two friends to suicide and I thought “why God why?” This song came on my playlist and I felt that stir in my soul. I had blamed myself for not speaking up when I always saw their scars and fake smiles. I felt I had betrayed their families because of how oblivious I was. For me “I Still Believe” is the song that I come to when I feel guilty about what happened almost five years ago and I doubt if I’m worthy of Gods love. It’s also the song I go to when I begin to second question my musical theatre career I want to have and if I will be good enough for it since it’s not a Christian dominant career and wonder if God wants me there.
This movie broke my heart. Very sad, but there is a deep message to it.
This was the last movie I saw in theatres before the pandemic literally one of the most moving movies I have ever seen. I cried my eyes out
God has been using Jeremy’s music to hold me close to Him for years now. So I’m with you guys! I doubt I’ll be able to hold it together when I see this movie. 😢💛🎶
Anyone who hasn't seen this movie, I highly recommend it. Probably the best Christian film I've ever seen. Beautiful cinematography, amazing actors, and heartwarming story! I believe this film will change the lives of many people! God bless!
