The fact that it doesn’t work with Apple HomeKit is kind of the Achilles heel for Apple users.

Edit: Nope, got that wrong. Ordered the Meteor Grey one from eBay. The set itself costs $320 ($524NZ) but after taxes and postage it came to $420.00 ($688NZ) but it is being sent to me here in New Zealand. Didn't intend on spending THAT much for them but wth lol. Won't get them till 18/01/24 which is a exactly one week before my 61st birthday, my Christmas/birthday present to me.
Ordered a set of these and installed them last week. Installation took a couple of hours. You don't want to have any of them askew. It's best to go slowly and deliberately. We had to remove and replace the first tile (Govee provides six extra adhesive pads), but once we got the first tile perfectly placed, we carefully continued from there, one at a time, placing, leveling (we used a longer level we had on hand) and finally adhering the tile permanently. They do look great. Amazing colors and patterns. Transforms a wall, if not a whole room. Great app to control everything. Expensive, but recommended.
Do they stick to the wall? I keep reading on Amazon they fall off and take the dry wall with it. If so it’s a no go for me because I live in An apartment
@@Wileytiger-el6pu I haven't had any issues so far. They stick. They haven't become noticeably dusty either. They still look good and if I had to do it again, I would in a second.
They are on a wall that was freshly painted a couple of weeks before they were installed. The wall is not smooth, being in an apartment that's been repainted numerous times since the bulilding was built in the 1950s.
The wall is a neutral gray color and I opted for the gray tiles. They look spiffy.
I must buy them for my minimalist home office, they look so beautiful 😍
$200 for a 10pk is just outrageous. 2pks and your already spending more on lights than your Playstation 5 of Xbox Series X. No light is worth that much.
Check out how these compare to other lights on the market. If you have a lower budget Govee has other lights that are lower priced as well. They've been doing an amazing job at innovating and creating some really nice products that provide a lot of value for what you pay. The next ones I'm going to buy are the curtain lights.
It is expensive and I absolutely understand your argument, but I think these actually are worth the price primarily for their aesthetic. The effects you can create with these lights is quite literally unlike anything else on the market right now.

NEW to your channel. So I just purchased the Glide ultra but I didn't even realize I purchased the meteor grey. Did I make a mistake? I'm reading the grey is soft dimmer color,and the white is brighter and vivid. What's your opinion, is there a big difference? ..... I did subscribe

*Please for your 20 panels was it better to use both (two) power adapters or only one was sufficient?

In Europe its 350 Euro for a pack of ten hexagons. This is prohibitive price. So, its not worthing.
I see you used 20 panels. Have you used only a controller and psu. ? What a controller and how many panels does it support? Thanks
Each box comes with a controller and PSU, but if you do 20 panels you only need one controller and it guides you where to plug it in.

Really cool atmosphere and you can use the sync box to connect to your PC for gaming. Of course they are good for a lot of other things too!

You’re really getting off track with this Govee Lights episode. I would like you to show everyone how versatile the USB C port on the iPhone 15 really is. For example, I can now plug in an Ethernet dongle to the phone and have high speed HARD WIRED internet. Apple even adds a blue cable connected icon up in the Dynamic Island. I’m on a 15 Pro Max. And I confirmed this feature works with the WiFi turned OFF. Love you all and the great work you do.
This has existed for very many iphone generations, look up USB Camera accessory
