  • This is one of the most popular trails to do in Arkansas. The trail itself is less than three miles with under 500 feet of elevation gain. You can take dogs if they are on a leash, and when the trail spits do not worry, both trails lead to the point. However you get more bang for your buck taking the trail to your right, because you get to stay by the bluffs and see more overlooks. This was not a hard trail, but accidents happen when people get too close to the edge, so try to keep a safe distance. if you have any questions leave them in the comments below. Thank you so much for watching, have a blessed day!

    Thanks for sharing this video. I live near Fayetteville and I'm planning to go out there this fall, so I was looking for any information I should know first, especially about which trail to go on.

      Thats Awesome, I also live in NWA! When the leafs change it will be amazing, I recommend you download alltrails. Its an app that tells you about the hike, and can show you directions! I was told there is also one or two waterfalls really close to that trail head you can look up and go to! Tell me how the trip goes and if you have any questions!

      @@ZachHollenbaugh My plan was to go when the leaves were bright colors, it think that will be really cool! I'll definitely download the trail maps, there probably isn't cell service out there. I'm planning to do a hyperlapse video of the hike.

      @ZachHollenbaugh  Před 3 lety

      Oh that would be awesome!! Yeah the cell reception is not really there haha, that entire area is amazing but no reception for the most part !

      @@ZachHollenbaugh That's what I thought, I've been to Newton county before and there isn't much signal at all, but sometimes its nice to just be disconnected for a little while. I look forward to the hike and thanks for your advice!

    Hi, I am coming from out of state. We rented a Toyota Rav4. Do you think that is sufficient for driving to the trailhead? I see many comments about the drive, and i'm a bit nervous! Also, do you recommend walking sticks?

    • @ZachHollenbaugh
      @ZachHollenbaugh  Před 3 lety

      Rav4 should be perfectly fine! The hike itself isn't too bad, some slightly steep spots that sticks wouldn't hurt, but wouldn't say its a must have! Have a fun trip!!

    Hi. How far from the spot that you can take a perfect shot at the hawksbill crag? Thanks

    • @ZachHollenbaugh
      @ZachHollenbaugh  Před 3 lety +1

      The spot you take the pictures is maybe 100 yards or so away, probably closer!

    Excited to try this! I heard it quite busy. Do you recommend going early or waiting until afternoon?

    • @ZachHollenbaugh
      @ZachHollenbaugh  Před 3 lety

      It is a hot spot, but I always recommend going early! You'll catch the spiderwebs but nothing beats a view of the sunrise! And you should beat the rush! Also depends on what day it is, going early on holidays may still be crowded!
