My folks had the same lamps for like 10-15 years at a time. Never knew they were replaceable. Since this tutorial, I’ve been burning through them at the rate of least 1 every 6 months. Sometimes I replace them after just a couple weeks- don’t want them to go stale. Never dealing with out of date light rays again. Thanks, Kirk.
That was extremely helpful. I learned so much. I never knew that the lampshade was actually called a hood. 😂 and it never occurred to me that I should toss the lamp after six months and buy a new one.
