- When honorary Australian Valtteri Bottas and teammate Zhou Guanyu joined us on the Fan Forum stage, we decided to have some fun, bringing four mullet-clad fans on-stage for the F1® superstars to rate their Mississippi Mudflaps.
Each year our Fan Forum stage attracts thousands of fans from around Albert Park who gather for a chance to see their F1® heroes up close and personal.
Instead of our usual interview format, we thought we'd shake it up and give the drivers a slightly different, more chaotic on-stage experience.

Thanks for the positive feedback. We’ve really made a huge effort to try and make the Fan Forum stage fun and something a bit different
@@ausgrandprix and it showed! Like it was so much better than just asking drivers the same questions every year. But this was fun and I think the drivers enjoyed them as well because these fan forums were very different and fun.
We think so. Everyone seemed in really good spirits when they got there and had really good energy. I think (hope) they appreciated trying something a bit different
