- You won't believe what happened on our Fan Forum stage when Daniel Ricciardo, Alex Albon, Yuki Tsunoda and Logan Sargeant joined us in a new look Fan Forum stage in 2024.
In celebration of Alex Albon's birthday, we challenged Daniel, Yuki and Logan to a cupcake decorating contest, and lets just say, things got CRAZY!!!
The session ended when Alex Albon jumped into the crowd, found an Alex fan and made her wear Yuki's winning cupcake in the face.
We feel sorry for the poor cleaning crew after this one!

F1 drivers are just massive kids on the inside. I love it, makes them seem more human than if they are just celebs driving fast cars.
We just wanted them to have a fun experience rather than an interview where they get asked the same questions over and over.

Yuki spontaneously pelting a cupcake at the crowd in itself is hilarious.
But in light of the MC spending almost half a minute trying to talk Alex out of smushing the cupcake on someone's face (after asking first), Yuki completely throwing caution in the wind and going _YEET!_ just becomes exponentially funnier.
He's an icon.
You had to work hard to spot that, but he was definitely letting his inner child loose out there. Very funny.

Thanks! We actually put in a heap of work to try and provide a bit more entertainment in all of our content this year. Our hope is that what you saw on our social media platforms, compliments what people were seeing on TV.
@@ausgrandprix Dude your PR and social teams KILLED this year. Hilarious events that really looked like the drivers were having so much fun, and your engagement with fans on socials is 10/10. Every race team and GP team needs to take a lesson from how Aus GP does it, y'all did an amazing job and deserve to be mega proud.

If Danni wants to 😢stay in F1 he needs to be down in his garage with his team working how to get another 1/10 of the second out of his car. I from the Senna, Prost era this is just childish. Now I am not saying they shouldn’t have fun when his future is on the line he should be in that garage.
I think Danny’s PR team needs to show more of that work he is doing rather than these fun stage events. I am sure he is doing work behind the scenes but maybe needs to be less involved in these public events going forward. Would garner more respect if so.
