In Haiti, your phenotype is called "Marabou". A dark or brown skinned black person who is identifiably black but has looser curled hair, typically jet black hair, sometimes not looser hair but thicker and long with thicker eyebrows
I did not realize that these features were considered ambiguous. This entire time I thought that these were regular unambiguous black features. After watching these exotically channels I realized that my dad’s side of the family and myself would be considered exoticals and ambiguous. My dads side is Afro-Caribbean with some White Cuban admixture. Being around my dads side of the family made me blind to see that we are considered exoticals since I mostly saw them all the time. It wasn’t until recently when my friend told me that I don’t have unambiguously black features, I was confused since I always thought that I did, and did not understand what she was talking about.
My whole life I've been told I have "Chinese eyes" and "good hair" and My skin tone /type has been brought up too. Idc if ppl think I'm unambiguous or ambiguous. Ik what I am and who I am and what my experience has been. The end.
@@AnAdorableWombat1 yeah, I don’t really get out much 😭. Plus it wasn’t until recently where I started to notice the differences between uab and ab features because I’m literally always surrounded by exoticals instead of uabw😭😭

Why make a video about their own appearance and then use images of other women entirely? It seems hypocritical given their focus on commenting on other people's looks.😅
