  • Abandoned Lone Star Steakhouse - Johnstown, PA (I Got Inside). An unexpected door opened for me and I was able to walk inside the abandoned restaurant but I didnt stay long as I wasn't sure if someone was inside the kitchen. Hope you still enjoy!

    There's an abandoned Lone Star Restaurant that's been closed for a long time with a lot of things left inside including rotten food and half filled moldy bottles of liquor. Bright Sun Films did this one recently at Cherry Hill Route 38 South Jersey. Hopefully you will be filming this one and yes you will need a respirator!!!

    So very sad to see these wonderful places disappearing. I was born and raised in Johnstown during the 50’s 60’ and 70’s ….when the town was bustling with business, malls, restaurants …and down town was a shoppers dream…worked at Glosser brothers …such fond memories. I now live in South America EC…where the malls are filled with people. We dont get amazon here Thank God. ….so very sad…I will always love and cherish my years living there.

    The LS website is still up and running! It lists four locations online all of which have closed, so it’s extinct, and hardly anyone has been warned that they closed down! They had one in Mount Vernon Illinois where my grandfather lives, and there’s nowhere in that town to get decent steak without going several miles to Fairview heights! The restaurant in Mount Vernon closed sometime this year, and yet, no warning. My grandpa was pissed to all hell as we were all excited to eat there and they shuttered without his knowledge.

      @josephbennett3482 Před 5 lety +1

      No it's not going to be torn down , Permanti Brothers from Pittsburgh bought it and are going remodel it and open it. And as far as exploring it or any closed property and trashing it in our shopping complex is illegal entry and destruction to private property, our businesses never sit empty for very long and nobody wants Vandals going in and destroying them. And also since all of our businesses have fully operational security systems they will capture anyone entering the building and destroying them and on top of that the Richland police department is right up the road from the complex so you or anyone else would have a difficult time getting away.

    Maybe some powers that be left that door open for you to do a very special exploration. It's a good call to do your filming and then move on. Who knows who could be in there.
    LOoking forward to what's next on your adventures.
