I thought it was going to be a simple event with Fremenet. A simple tale of helping a child with a mental health problem to solve.
What I didn't expect was a beautiful story of a mother, grieving and being stuck in a fantasy, finding a way to finally say goodbye to her son. Losing a child is rough, but moving forward is the biggest obstacle. I love how this story handled a way to finally say goodbye and move forward.
This is why I keep telling those who think Genshin is just another waifu game can't be more wrong.
Gemstones like this that directly tackle real world issues with zero signs of any "fan service" anywhere. Are exactly why I play this game.
Miyoho forcing me to be a witness in a scenario that may happen to me one day in real life and realizing that stuff like this happens everyday. It makes me realize there are so many that need help in real life because of situations like this that go unnoticed.
Grief can do so much mental damage...

@@izzy9378 the camera works also make it seem like Freminet was talking to the players directly. My boy is a tear-jerker and hoyo milked tf out of him.

This quest made me think long and hard about that.

My mom passed away when I was 11 so this quest made me cry so hard. You can’t keep doing this to me mihoyo. So far most of fontaine has made me cry, it truly is the nation of hydro 😭

Fontaine is really the nation of hydro. How am I gonna recover from this. Plus the VAs in Fontaine really hit in the feels.
This event broke me a little… losing a loved one is honestly terrifying, and moving on from it means you’re incredibly strong
such simple and short song yet my eyes filled with tears😭
Just when I thought I had a break after completing the Archon quest, this event's story and OST hit me right in the feels again 😢😿
Same for me, i was not ready for that scene to happen and got me in tears

this event really struck a chord. im grateful that the message of the quest came across well and delivered emotions that i could feel so deeply. i will cherish my memories of this event for a long time. anyway, lovely piano that i can accompany my reading with.
I thought I was just gonna steamroll through the quest, play a bunch of mini games, then collect all the goodies and primogems... then I paid attention to the ending. I couldn't stop crying 😭 I can't believe this is just for a timed-event.

Genshin impact, the impact so huge that in every region there's always many stories to unfold that would surely hits you hard.
Imagine in whatever version there's finally an event where we would explore deeply about timmie, people would get absolutely destroyed.
