The Eighth V10 Ep2 - The Development Continues Downunder

- Yes: the eighth generation V10 with VPP™ is faster. But even faster and newer bikes require some extra time for riders to get “back up to speed”.
Imagine our surprise, then, when we were faced with something unexpected: the entire Syndicate singing the new V10’s praises straight from the get go. Greg says he’s proud to be part of the development of this build.
Episode two brings us into the room where the bike was revealed to Nina, Jackson, and Laurie for the first time. Then, the team’s test camp in New Zealand where the Syndicate do run after run, sharing what they’re feeling and how the bike is influencing their riding. Finally, they hit their first race of the season: the Australian DH Nationals at Thredbo.
The Syndicate will be racing this bike in 2023 and they will continue to develop it throughout the year. Future episodes will dive further into the process of making a world class downhill race bike even faster.
When will it go on sale? No time soon. This is development in plain sight. - Sport
The new frame looks nice and fancy, but we want to know what glasses Laurie and Jackson are wearing?! Looks like the early 2000s are making a come back.
Gentleman Greg lives above any trend. Thank goodness.
Oakley O frames
Those are literally Steve Peat's sunnies. Now we just need baggy Fox shorts...
Oakley Eye Jacket.
@@TeddyParker Yeah, Peaty's old frames for sure.
Jackson will be world Champion very soon. He’s insanely talented athlete on a bike. When he won Hardline last year that was a wake up call for everyone to see. He’s Coming for yeah!!…🤟
hardline was just "oh he might win" dont discount the fact as a junior he smashed the elite times at the WC's - most people picked it up then...
I dig that carrying handle on the top tube - Incoming DH Cyclo-cross!
the corner speed of Jackson is insane!
GoldStone is phenomenal!!!
Oh hell yeah. Love it. Go the mighty V10 & Team Syndicate. Starting to save my $ already.
Much much faster? Oh that's why you set a new track record at Coronet... Excited for part 3!
YES JACKSON GO ON LAD!!!!!!!!!
V10.7 is pretty darn good but man can’t wait to get my hands on this bad boy!
8:22 made me feel bad for Steve, and the new bike.
😂😂😂😂 yeah right, just dropped the bike and (even worse) left Peaty hanging and turned his back on him. We’ll put it down to the excitement of winning his first senior elite event 😂😂😂😂
High quality all round
I hope this year is going to be the return of the syndicate gold era. With these riders and bike, come on, it's now or never. Couldn't stand the frenchies winning everything again
Santa Cruz for life Yo!
Getting 1 as soon as it's out 🍀🍀🍀
When are you guys starting to produce it can‘t wait for it .looks amazing
Ooooh... I like that RED colorway! I hope it's a factory color for sale to the public....
Sickkk
It's amazing how not one single negative performance aspect is mentioned. I find it hard to believe it's perfect... on and on about the good stuff but completely neglect any bad stuff... keep up with the advertisement guys.
What did you expect, them saying it’s only marginally better or still having flaws in the design?
Every new sc bike has been a gradual improvement of the previous version…evolution beats revolution. I just wish they kept the 5010 full 27.
@@Bonky-wonky 27.5 front wheels are a bit meh though, you can get heaps of agility out of a mullet bike but the benefits of the 29er front.
I still like 27.5 bikes, but they have their place like jumps etc but otherwise mullet and full 29 offer to much benefit.
@@MrSupermugenI mostly build and ride tight, mid speed loamy tracks filled with jumps so the small wheels make sense for me. I must say the bike also rips in the bikepark but it certainly keeps you on your toes compared to something like a megatower.
Thanks for subtitules and español🙏🏼
You're welcome 😊
You should make a mini santa cruz v10 for riding with your fingers
My friend put this bike together for his son and before I knew it he was done czcams.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L When the son came to put it together he was surprised to see it was already done. All he had to do was take the bike to get air and be on his way. My friend did not have any major problems putting this bike together; small issue was putting one of the brakes on straight; however when the son got home he was able to fix it. The bike rides well gears move correctly; good bike for the price. Wrote review after the son took the bike. Sorry.

Wait till you see them up close, side by side.
I will never understand the desire to drink from a sweaty shoe or boot in the case of mx. Disgusting 😂😂
Yeah...the Australians have a lot to answer for. The Shoey being the latest in a line of dero behavior.
