Evan I’ll give you a little bit of help.
You do have correct setup in terms of T25 turbo to the engine and T25 exhaust to the T3 turbo! The hot side you have done everything right!
Your problem is in the compressor (cold) side. The charge pipe of the T3 turbo has to go to the intake of the T25 turbo and the charge pipe of the T25 turbo has to go to the intercooler!

If you look closely, he has it the other way around. He has the charge pipe of the T25 turbo connected to the intake of the T3 turbo and the charge pipe of the T3 turbo to the intercooler.
yes thank you!, ive commented this before like 3 months ago and in evry single video my head hurts cause its not working and he also says in teh video that diesel guys do it like this (the right way) but he just testing this for the hell of it.... whyy god whyy
@Cody Mccrae no dude, google compound turbo system. You want the bigger one feeding the smaller one, you will spool as fast as just running the smaller one, but then you can get alot of power when the smaller turbo multiplys the boost from the bigger turbo, so basically you get spool like the small turbo and max power from the bigger one.
Andrés D. Cruzado Serrano while you are 100% correct I think the problem currently is with the wastegates. I don’t think the cold side restriction would come into play this early (as in power). Though they will as you said.
@Cody Mccrae the big turbo (atmosphere charger) feeds the smaller turbo (manifold charger) in a set of compounds.
To summarize, we still have lots to try. At this point this setup IS working to an extent, but the small turbo may be eating some of the boost the big turbo needs. Might try a few more things, but might also switch turbos around to see what happens :) HAVE AN AWESOME DAY!

Check the vacuum line going to the BOV for leaks. Check the valve inside of the BOV I believe you are running an ebay BOV so poor quality control could lead to a stuck valve causing boost to bleed off. I hope this helps evan and have a great day!
I have pictures of this set up already done. And if I can find the forum I can show you there set up. Just trust me your waste gates are wrong if I remember correctly u need 3 but please get in contact with me
Evan at 5:40 approx, ylu can see a flame that looks like a wastegate leak under the turbo! I replayed it many times

If I did this setup, I would route the boost from the intake side of the t25 to the exhaust inlet for the t3, making the t3 spool better, stay safe!

Sometimes thing's not working out

Last week I was fitting an exhaust header to a car, & a stud snapped in the cylinder head☹. I've now learnt a new skill; how to remove a broken stud😉.
sounds like a gate is opening around 5k when it should not.do another pull and hold your hand near the gate and see if it is the gate opening premature.

Normally compound turbo setup has the low pressure turbo (your top turbo) intake atmospheric air. I thought you had the pipe going down for cold air intake, until I see the expansion of the silicone coupling.
Get 2 boost gauge, one for first turbo and another for second, so you can tune the boost pressure easily.

Hit up six sigma tuning, he had two compound turbo talons that are really fast. Like 8s iirc

Big turbo absolutely needs to be the one that takes in ambient air.
Putting the small turbo first is basically a restrictor similar to what's used for wrc cars to keep the field equal.
Correct that’s why it isn’t making any more power up top when the bigger turbo starts to out flow the small turbo diesel guys have been messing with this stuff for decades

The gas and clutch sock are the best and softest I have ever owned everyone should own at least 3 pair for sure . Even on the wrong feet’s they are still the best
Check the top gate and blowoff valve and you should open it up so it can breathe better and check one of your turbos you need to check and see if there is nothing wrong with the fins.
Is the first wastegate dumping back in before the second turbo? Because it needs to be so you get all the exhaust flow of turbo 1 feeding turbo 2.
Get one good quality wast gate and I also I’m not sure if you have your cold side piping done right.
only one question. Small turbo, is her wastegate resirculated back to exhaust? Like, so that all the exhaust is going to the big one? maybe try no small wastegate at all for it to free-wheel with all that intake suction, exhaut pressure air?

He has a lot to learn he doesn't even have the cold side setup correctly.
I will add that the primary is just that, primary. The job of the primary is to create air mass that exceeds volumetric displacement you need to spool the secondary, where as a single the secondary would be a last second spool at best. I own a mechanical design company and I have personally designed and fabricated dozens of these systems. If you need help just reach out. Im happy to share info.
Check couplers especially the top one I see an increase in size halfway thru the pull

It looks like the boost leak is right around that long pipe at 11:47 you can see the boost being pushed out maybe the hose connecter got messed up after doing all the pulls especially after the burn out that was super shake maybe it popped off a little bit. Anyways great video

Don’t quote me on this but I’m pretty sure you need your first turbo to not open the gate untill the second turbo has reached the boost your looking for then both gates open at the same time or one slightly after the other ( I don’t know what I’m talking about)

Have you already tried completely cranking the internal gate shut on the small turbo and only using the external gates?
Evan if it is not plumbed in the internal gate can blow open and dump boost if not cranked shut on the rod or welded shut.
Is one of the paired wastegates malfunctioning? Could you possibly remove the two small wastegates and put in one large one?

I haven't read the comments yet but have you figured out that you plumbed the boost piping wrong? The funny noise you hear is the big compressor is basically cavitating the primary and as a result the secondary is starving for air to induce.
You should hit up Greg aberella he’s a diesel youtuber who has a triple turbo Cummins and he might be able to help you figure it out
Actually Evan you won’t run into a power difference until you reach peak flow on the t25 that’s why the compound guys run it they way they do.

On one of the pulls when it’s boosting properly you can see smoke begin to come from the BOV and the boost quickly drops off. I don’t think your BOV can handle the boost properly
