Greetings from Brazil. Beautiful work, but one piece that was different from the others left the final design strange. I agree that a slightly smaller base would make the piece prettier.
One segment totally different from the others. Not attractive at all. The joints between segments weren't tight. They show up too much. Screw holes left in the base??? Overall I'd give this a 2 out of 10. 2 for the concept.

It's a lovely bowl,but it's not groundbreaking. This has been done before.
Really nice work but I think you could've done better with the bottom.
