It's a little off of what you usually cover, but there are two song I thought of recently that I think would be awesome if you covered. We Will Not Go Quietly by Sixx A.M. or The Resistance by Skillet.

As a native English speaker, I really have to commend your diction here, because you are so much easier to understand than any other person I've ever heard singing this song. Such beautiful lyrics, but most people I've heard singing it (including Tarja) don't enunciate them clearly enough to do them justice. Your version is absolutely lovely 😊

Kinda helps that she doesn't always sing the correct lyrics but what she thinks is right. Easily recognizable example: 'separating the poet from the awe' instead of 'separating the poet from the woe' @ 1:43
I speak a little English.....that's the only language though
The more operatic the song, the harder to pronounce the words. That comes with the genre. Operatic singers have to round the vowels, push their larynx down the throat and make mouth as spacey as possible. It's not similar singing as contemporary rock or pop. People that don't listen opera, don't get it.
@@Aurinkohirvi I know that very well, and plenty of singers are able to do it far better than Tarja. Her English accent just isn't very good. Her Spanish is actually far better.

Ahh... The song that made me fall in love with Nightwish 18 years ago. I was at a New Years eve party just going through the host's cd collection when I found this. At some point, after I had replayed the song 4-5 times, the guy says "Again?! You do know there is a whole album after this song, right?" Interesting... You did it beautifully!! I would love it if you could do Dead Boy's Poem and/or Fantasmic. These songs deserve great covers!!

And bravery! As old Nightwish songs don't get much harder and more operatic than this! Or I suppose it depends on the singer, but definately a lot in the difficulty scale. Not expecting an operatic approach, which makes it even harder. Continuing video.. Yeaaaah, success! Man that's a difficult mountain to climb! Good job both of you! I had it written on a tape from the radio on the old metal zone of 1055 Rock.. together with Kamelot - The expedition, Iron Mainden - the evil that men do, etc...
1:11 and I already got goosebumps all over my body, You're voice fits the song perfectly. And a HUGE shout out to Quentin, I really enjoy seeing him playing guitar as well.

Yeah, it is a surprising and brave choise. As it is very high in the difficulty, if you're not in the operatic vocals.

Beautifully done! The instrumental work and the vocals. I can't carry a tune in a bucket, and even going more than an octave below, my voice cracks. It takes a LOT of vocal talent to sing at this register AND do it well. I'm definitely planning to listen to more of your work!
