Thanks for watching the video High Percentage Sidemount Escapes | BJJ Techniques | ROYDEAN - Sport
Mr Dean, it seems like yesterday that I was a white belt studying your blue belt requirements vids. Now I'm a black belt and I'm still thoroughly enjoying what you're sharing with us all. Thank you, sir!
What level are you on now?
@@cesaralvesdemoraes3187I don’t know what he is but I am in the same situation and I am a brown belt now.
He said black belt
This guy is so smooth and has improved one of my armbars already. I would always look the wrong way and try to finish belly down instead of looking the other way and rolling them to their backs and getting the finish.
Amazing. Can learn more here in one video than weeks and weeks in a lot of schools!
I like how he kicks his leg out first to help get the better angle to get the knee inside. I should certainly try that.
I always find little golden nuggets from watching Roy's videos. I have been training 13 years. Been a black belt for almost 3 now. I still catch little details or see new techniques. The knee tip, the leg whip, a version of that knee block, and posture block and bridge. The biggest thing I noticed, that he shows but doesnt highlight, that has changed my game, is going to flat belly now. The changing of your body's angle in relation to the floor and your partner is huge. I will be putting out a series on it soon.
Going belly down is one thing that I just did naturally coming from folkstlye wrestling.
Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful techniques Sir Roy Dean I'm a no gi practitioner here in the Philippines and these techniques helps me a lot.
Very nice how the two positions mirror each other from bottom side and knee on belly shin sweep. Potential energy is something I have made a recent study lately and thinking about the differences between potential energy and kinetic
Love how Roy's content continues to really help me. Nice how you often chain techniques together.
Enjoying every bit of Mr. Deans videos. Thanks for this.
Roy is so smooth!
One of my favorite Professor of all time !! I specially like it when you explain everything so nicely. Everything you teach is so effective to me, I want to thank you for sharing and I wish you a lot of success in life prof.Dean , I’m your huge fan from Philippines
excellant break down of important small details that may be overlooked. Osss.
Love how smooth Prof Dean is from both sides (L and R). What's up with the black stripes for the degrees on the belt?
Thank you Mr Dean! Love your videos from NZ.
Simply awesome. Greetings Mr Dean all the way from Kenya.
Always top content from you! Thank you for sharing your knowledge professor Dean ❤️🙏🏽
Congratulatios for the thecnics, awesome seminar, Roy is so gifted with smootness and srategies of connecting movements in a coherent sequence that ends up in a favorable position to finalize the match. Great masterclass!
Amazing video as always. Thanks.
This is Gold. Thank you for sharing this great content. Can't wait to put it into practice!!
I didn't began to practice Jujitsu and still I can´t stop watching this videos!
If you have the option, dive in, friend. It's a great time.
Roy is so good
Thank you Mr Dean
Fantastic!
I like how BJJ cherishes attention & awareness. It is incredibly similar to meditation in that aspect. (I am an avid, 2-year-so-far meditator.) Awareness & attention is the way to go!
Thank you
thanks again
Beautiful
Lovely
Such a master! Thank you!
You're very welcome!
Great video how did you capture such great audio?
Next time please do with white gi.
best bjj channel. period.
If a blue belt or black belt hasnt trained for ten years or more ‘ how will that reflect in dojo ?
Ossssss!!
To the knees
Postur back bridge
Pull your legs back
how big is this dojo?
And how should it reflect in dojo ?
And bullying in martial arts by students and teachers ?
Question can the shin sweep be done in no-gi?
Yes, wrist grip and arm under the knee instead of a sleeve grip and pants grip
Be mindful of your partner's hand when doing the shin sweep. If you don't get rid of the posting hand before the sweep, your training partners' fingers might get broken. Prof. Roy does tell you to get rid of the posting hand by pushing him away but just thought of leaving this here.
Olá, boa noite. Você é brasileiro?
Scorpion Death Lock is a great name for a finishing move, nevertheless
Ah.
Ossss
