It's your bike bro, put all the bags you want on it. who cares what it's meant for. Do you brother!!!
Facts!
AGREED! Well put brother
What he said LOL there is no wrong or right it's all in preference and what you prefer you will you break that you pay for
Yep, how are you meant to go anywhere without change of clothes? If you're riding with no bags you're just a poser, these bikes are based on the 841 used by the army and they had big ole bags on em. Don't listen to stupid.
You have it in the house bro ..they can never question your commitment 😎
It looks awesome man. Dont ket the ideas or tastes of another change yours. Geeze, I'll never understand that. Its your bike👍👍👍
A totally badass work of art. The coolest bike I've ever seen. Kudos and thank you.
I appreciate that
Best looking bobber I've seen so far
Great video. You did great job on the mods, to your liking. Looks awesome! At the end of the video, you said, "see you in the spring". Very true, I wouldn't take the bike out in the winter either. I lived in Connecticut for 23 years. I know damn well, the crazy winters and how anyone can easily get caught in black ice at every turn. Not to mention the corroding salt that eats away at anything. As you know, motorcycles are not meant, to keep shooting the pressure washer at every nook and cranny, on a daily basis. Seals will dissolve quickly, electrical components, sensors, connectors, etc, start to cause problems and need replacing. Just a headache! You're a smart man to keep your bike in a clean, dry and salt free environment! If I had invested money in mods and upgrades and I still lived on the east coast, I'd only take the bike out during the short three-four months of summer, as well! (after the heavy April rains wash away the majority of the salt off of the asphalt) Congrats!!
Awesome seat :) I got the same one but with the carbon fiber leather. Indian LED light. V&H 3 inch twin slash, progressives' piggy-back socks. Trask air filter and replaced the pegs with Jocker pegs. Love the gas cap. Nice choice.
CZcams algorithm brought me here and I'm glad. You got such a sick bobber!
Awesome upgrades!
Your Bike is an expression of you. That's cool to make it unique to your taste. I have a 2021 Scout Bobber and I've enjoyed doing a few changes myself. So far I just changed the Pipes and Air Box, and I've extended the forward controls due to my legs being long. Next I will have to do something for a passenger. Keep on Riding!!!
Beautiful bike! I like your style.
Wow wow wow. The most beautiful SB I’ve seen so far. Those six bags are Fantastic.
Wow, thanks for the love dude.
@@vinnymacpr I meant sexy bags. Love the small one. I'm yet to see a motorcycle sexier than the scout. Nada. :-)
Beautiful bike man makes me want one even more love the videos keep it up man 👍
Just got one a couple of days ago.
It's great.
Everything looks really good! Subbed
I appreciate that brutha. More to come!
Thanks so much for this.
That is one sweet ride!
Beautiful ride bro. If ever you decide to sell in the future, post here and I might just bite.
Don't listen to anyone trying to tell you that a bobber needs to be minimalistic, to each his own but your bike is perfect! Not overly done at all. Love the tool roll, dream catcher and brown leather accents! She's a beauty!
Thanks for the love brutha. Agreed-- as long as the rider is happy with it, that's all that matters.
The dream catcher is really cool!!
Nice, I like the handlebar ..
Amazing job on the bike! I just bled my ABS brakes for the front using a vacuum bleeder and it worked great! No issues with ABS after. Just make sure to run about a full amount of fluid through the master cylinder and pump the brakes to get all of the bubbles out of the line. Very easy to do on your own and can avoid the dealer!
Yeah, I would’ve bled on my own if it were for the front. The rear is more complicated and involved from what I’ve been reading online. But you’re right, I def want to avoid the dealership as much as possible moving forward
@@vinnymacpr not sure how the rear could be any different. Both master cylinders run into the same ABS system so it should be the same. Worst case is some air in the line and then just do a gravity bleed to make certain all of the air is out.
Great bike! The leather looks great.
Thanks brutha
Damn man those hand grips are beautiful!!! i want to buy that bike, it will be my second bike lets see how she ride
She looks Great !!
Sweet ride
The scout bobber community took me in like a son, I’m a big car guy I mean a big geek and I never thought I would start noticing bikes and the bike community isn’t so different for car guy’s and I’m already expecting the scout in two weeks
Welcome to the tribe!
I really like your interior decor LOL hell yeah
You’ve got a keen eye… thanks dude
I think the bags look great on it.
I'm like 20 of your views. Hahah. I know nothing about bikes, but I want this. I'm going to have to read and watch a lot.
I appreciate that. If this inspire you to ride some day, then awesome!!
bike looks great i got a scout sixty put mustang seats on it crome sissy bar to break up the black and viking saddle bags
Sick bike
👀 very nice 👍 brother
Was wondering if you could make a video on the headlight where’d you get it from and how you installed it?
Nice mods good video. Where did u get that headlight grill??
Bro your machine is nice 👌🏼
Appreciate it!
You have to bring it to Indian motorcycle of springfield next time man. They are great!
Mid controls sounds like a lot of work. Wish Mid controls were standard on the bike. Great mods! I own a Rebel, but the Indian seems like the most natural progression from a Rebel.
Amen to having them standard!
And yeah, a lot of work. Wouldn’t have been worth it if I didn’t lower the riding position with the drag bars. But def don’t regret it.
Sounds like you’re looking into joining the tribe…?
You should definitely name that dealership so we can avoid it
Nice
Looks like you have an Arlen Ness gas cap like I have on my Victory. I just bought the bobber and would like to know if that’s the same size?
Thank you for a helpful video
I have two questions
1. How to change headlight cover? by use relocation kit or headlight housing + rim ring
2. let me know your sissy bar
thanks~!
Planning on getting the same bags. Does anyone know if I’ll need the spacing mount?
Hello mate. How may Leather Wraps (Trip Machine) did you need for each Crash Bar?
Did you DYE before you wrapped? Or after? I already have the same leather strap on my grips, but the color didn't match my saddle bags
What kind of drag bars and headlight housing and mount do you have?
Where did you get the indian head dress engine cover?
What size and colour is backrest pad? Wanna order same.
Love your bike setup. I’m looking into the scout bobber too and you just made it more that I want it. What would you say you paid on all the upgrades.
Thanks dude.
Someone asked me this about a year ago and I honestly don’t know. I mean I spread it out about 3 years, but I’d prob say about 5-6k. Seats (Corbin and Alex leather), front and back suspension, Roland sands mid controls, tires and Long Ride saddle bags are among the more expensive additions. But with all the smaller ones combined... prob closer to 6. To be fair, I’ve bought several handgrips, headlights, mirrors, seats, foot controls, etc. So not saying all mods on my bike currently are worth 6k, but that I’ve prob spent that over the course of owning it.
What happened with the other barend mirrors you had
Really nice bike man !! Mind showing us how to adjust the height of the rear brake and clutch padels ??
It’s actually pretty simple; the shifter rod and the brake pushrod are each threaded. You tighten or loosen on either side to raise or lower the brake and shifter pegs.
@@vinnymacpr Thanks man, that's what i thought, been a lil hesitant to mess with the breaks, it's my very first bike lol trying to learn how to wrench on it :)
Where did you find those tank pads?
What is the exact name of that combination seat? I'm after a new seat and undecided and your one looks sick, man
It’s black bomber jacket for the seat panel, the rest is black leather. Check the link below, it’ll let you see a mock-up of whatever combination you want. For some reason you can’t see it on the bobber page. But when you find the combination you want, you can just apply it to the bobber seat and know what your getting.

Nice bike man. I'm selling my gsx s1000 n getting a scout just concerned about the rear travel on this bike making the ride a bit stiffer affecting the spine.
Yeah man, I hear you. It didn’t take long before I had to switch out the suspension, which isn’t cheap. If you’re getting a standard scout, you should be okay. If you’re getting the bobber, you’ll prob want to make some changes for comfort.
Sweet bike!.. where did you get the tank pads? I'm tempted to put some on mine, because I have a feeling the smoke paint will get worn (and then shiny) from my knees.
You’re right- the black smoke paint is supper sensitive. But I couldn’t find ones that were made for the scout/bobber, so I had to make the tank pads myself. Bought rubber sheets from techspec, snake skin pattern. Sketched the template, and cut/smoothed out with a dremel tool. Came out perfect.
@@vinnymacpr Dang... Yeah... I knew what I was getting into with the Thunder Black Smoke. It's probably still better than the gloss Thunder Black with showing scratches especially considering mine lives under a cover outside. Thanks for the heads up! Just bought the sheets from TechSpec. :-)
Dope bike man! Love it.. wandering what are those bar end mirrors. Do you like them more then the KiWAV?
They actually are kiwav. I have a bigger pair that I show in the first vid. Bought this smaller pair after. Happy with both.
@@vinnymacpr oh.. so those are the round one. I'm trying to find a good set of bar end mirrors that I can keep down. With those round one can you actually see behind you? With the stock mirrors I can't see much from the right one, i have to lower my head or raise a bit my arm
@@ajvalerio86 someone else asked me about this, and it’s hard to say. Because I changed to a drag bar and my foot control location has changed, I am sitting at a different position than with stock. With those changes, yes, I see better. But I will say it was better with the larger kiwav mirrors I have in my first video- because they have a wider FOV and they are more maneuverable with the pivoting arm. That said, with the round ones I see fine. If I have a larger riding jacket with thicker sleeves, I might need to tilt my head very minimally. Not sure if that answers your question.
What did you use to dye the leather?
Do you think a 240 tire will fit with the bags I really want this bike and all the wide tire ones I see a completely stripped and I like the accessories
Probably not. The fenders (if you even install one) available that you’d pair with a 240 will be very close to the tire and wouldn’t have brackets that would allow for you to mount the bags. But if you go through with it and it works, I’d be interested to see how that works out.
Nice ride. What are the exhaust add-one? I prefer less load
Thanks. The exhaust pipes are Kuryakyn Crusher Mavericks. Love them.
Question regarding Mid controls: are they mounted to the engine? I have thought to get ones myself, but I talked to a friend who is a mechanic, and he told me that it is not smart to mount it to the engine because if you will fall, it could break (rip some pieces out), etc from the engine. What is your look on this? What do other smart internet people think about it?
I’m not a mechanic, so I’d say your friend definitely knows more than I do lol.
Thankfully I have crash bars in the front and have also just installed sliders in the rear. Hopefully I never have to test whether or not it’ll protect my bike what your buddy described...
What is the size for the sissy bar they ended up doing custom for you? I’ve been looking to try to get a smaller size like yours compared the the ones listed online with Ginzs and Dean Speed.
Because of the dreamcatcher insert, they gave me a 13inch bar. The smallest ginz shows online (without and insert) is 10inches. They were super helpful when I called to spec it out, so they can tell you the smallest bar they’d be able to make for you given your specific bike and bar type.
Would you get more of an lean angle changing the foot mount position?
I really want to get this bike but i hear it's really easy to drag pegs on it.
With this mount specifically you’ll get a better lean angle. The pegs not only sit slightly higher than stock position, but they are also shorter than stock... and definitely much shorter than the billet rider pegs I had prior to the change.
I am not aggressive with the lean, and I scraped up the stock and billet pegs. I don’t see myself doing that with these.
Wt headlight buckst is tht
Awesome bike mate! I have the same just the 2019 model, also in the Matt black. Where abouts did you find that engine cover with the Indian skull looking thing?
Thanks dude. Here you go.

@@vinnymacpr legend! Thanks mate.
If youre ever trying to change bikes id be interested in buying your bobber!
is there digital infotainment available for scout bobber at all? Like the new 2022 Indian Cheif
The infotainment is not offered for the scout models currently, not stock or as an add-on.
Where did you buy that clutch cover and also by any chance did you make a list of all the mods you made and where to buy them. Your bike is awesome dude
Looks like you've got new mirrors. Are those the Kiwav Bob blacks? Is the field of view better than the stock bobber mirrors? And do they clear the tank better?
Good eye! Field of view not a big improvement over stock, but yes it clears the tank way better and look less awkward because of the short length. The kiwav stark mirrors had a great field of view, but I switched to these because they were much more low profile
What is that bell like thing down the back break. Is it an accessory. Where can i find that?
www.bikebandit.com/blog/the-legend-of-the-gremlin-bell-a-bikers-tradition
this is my dream bike. would you recommend it as a first bike? I have offroad experience with 450quad I think I can handle it. but what's your opinion. thanks and beautiful bike
Thanks, appreciate it!
Would I recommend it as a first bike? I wouldn’t make that call- it’s totally dependent on the skill, confidence and discipline of the new rider. Most people recommend getting something used or a beater for a first bike, in case of drops and so that they can learn on something that’ll give them confidence before getting something more powerful. That said… the only riding experience I had before I bought this bike was from the motorcycle safety course when getting my license… so it’s definitely doable.
I'm ordering a similar sized bar from ginz choppers. Do you find you Really need the backpad for the passenger? Or is it ok enough for passenger to ride without the backrest. Just thinking of budget
I don’t necessarily need it, I have it for the extra layer of comfort in case. But remember, I have a drag bar and mid controls mounted on my bike, so I’m leaning forward, with my passenger doing the same. If you are riding more upright, and especially if you have mini apes or higher bars, your passenger might be resting more on the back rest than for me. The naked sissy bar is not comfortable on its own, but the back pad is definitely overpriced. I would say give it a try without the pad for a while and see how you feel. You can always get it after the fact, like I did.
Would they be able to match that back rest with he main seat? or could they do all black stitching? i like the look of the back rest and i ride with my wife sometimes. I'm sure she will like that
The seat is from Corbin (black bomber jacket leather), the back rest is from Ginz. I knew they couldn’t match the seat which is more of a grayish color, so I just had them do it in black leather. They can do it in different color stitching. If you plan on buying a custom seat yourself and want them to match, you may want to consider getting a plain black seat.
@@vinnymacpr i like the way u have it i would just get black stitching 👍🏾👍🏾
What Corbin seat is this?
I’m looking at this same bike however it doesn’t come with ABS. Is it possible to add ABS later on for a reasonable price or should I look for another one?
I dunno the service cost of installing an abs system, but I wouldn’t be surprised if, on top of the cost of the system itself, you’d end up paying more. I think you’d be better off with looking at a bike that has everything you want stock.
How many orders of the Trip Machine grip wrap did you use for your crash guards?
It took exactly 5 pairs of wrap to cover the crash bars from end to end.
Great Bike! What rear view mirrors are those ?

Whats the front headlight and bucket you have

Is the handlebar a dragbar ? And if so what is the brand ?
Yes it’s a drag bar from Indian aftermarket. www.indianaftermarket.com/handlebars-bobber.html
I have a list of my initial mods in my first vid as well.
Did you go with stock tire size if not what size did you go with
Yeah, I went with the stock sizing.
Are u able to put those crash bar with the foot control being in the original position? Or putting the bars need to require u to move the foot controls
Crash bars fit with the stock foot controls/position 👍🏼
@@vinnymacpr thanks 😊
Did you start with a nacelle & swapped to bucket?
Yeah I switched out the stock cover to a bucket, and went up in headlight size to a 7plus inch.
who made the dreamcatcher? The company you got your saddle from?
Ginzchoppers made the sissy bar and the dream catcher that’s attached to it. Solid production
@@vinnymacpr thanks brotha!! much love
Does this bike come with a USB port for cell phones
The ‘18 didn’t, I had to install the speedo casing from the later models that had a USB port.

dang I want that exhaust but I think it got discontinued :(
Nah man, they’re still out there. They have on the Kuryakyn website, but you should find cheaper on Dennis Kirk, Amazon, eBay.
Looks like you change the mirrors. Why?
I did. These are KiWav just like the other ones- so I still stick by the brand. I just liked how much smaller and minimal these are. But can switch between these and the others at anytime if I end up missing the larger field of view.
Is this a good sized bike for 2 adults?
Long rides, no. But good for city riding, especially if you have a more substantial passenger seat
Who cares what it’s meant for? That a good looking bike. Those bags just enhance it
How much did the sissy bar cost you?
Mount was 170, sissy bar was 220+, the dream catcher insert was 50
How much did this bike cost?
