I had the exact same fault on a 2018 Corolla (Fielder) & surprisingly the fix was the same, I unplugged the connector & removed the 10mil bolt & then found that the sensor like thing is just a junction connector between the sensor wiring (inside the motor gen) & the PCM wiring😉
So the sensor is fitted on the motor shaft, & for that everything had to come apart, I did put everything back together, sprayed some contact cleaner on the junction connector & the grip, Re-calibrated it with my IM608 & everything was fixed👍

Glad that it worked for you. For me it dis not although i did not clean the connector as you did. I think tge owner replaces the whole trans that came with drive motor and senaor from junkyard.

I checked my battery through a multimeter and it has 11.96 volts, but when connected, it drops to around 4 volts. Is it my hybrid battery or maybe the power relay assembly? Do you know what could be causing this?
Have you tried changing the temperature sensor that is behind the black cap on the solenoid body? This defect is typical of the sonata with the same symptom.

I recently have a problem with the Auxiliary pump. The pump for the HSG or the hybrid alternator (turns the service light on and ready light flashing). When engine is warmed or hot, including the weather. That causes the transmission to jerks off or a problem with the transmission. Basically its the HSG or hybrid alternator doing that transmission jerks. I have replaced the Auxiliary pump and the transmission jerk fixed. But i have a code p1c76 and engine light comes on. I don't really know whats that for or how to fix that.

I have a 2012 Kia optima hybrid and I replaced the hybrid alternator on mine and the transmissions still Jerks when your coming to a complete stop not all the time but occasionally the check engine light comes on and off kinda of annoyed doesn’t want to pass smog :/the aux canister was also replaced by the dealership for a “recall”

Hello, how are you? I have a problem with the Hyundai Tucson. When I start the engine, the hybrid battery does not charge, and there are three codes on the Z5 device and the Autel device: P0C1700, P0DFC00, and P0C1700. Thank you
A hybrid tech has to look at it. Hybrid systems are not for someone to work on them.

@@DallasAutoDiag Near Atlanta GA. Is it really that bad of a situation? Could I not work on my car myself and narrow down what could possibly be wrong?
Could it be a faulty auxillary battery? Maybe a bad cell within the battery?
@@robertwhitlet a hybrid system is not a diy thing. I think you need a pro tech to look at it.

My advice is to find a good technician to diagnose it correctly for you and stop guessing.

I had a bad hydraulic brake module at 59,000 miles . Sat in my driveway for three years. Kia failed to help.
