I got the cookbook yesterday and made the pasta in cream sauce. The cream sauce is very similar to the sauce here. Feeling proud as this is basically MY FIRST EVER RAW VEGAN MEAL!! I did it. I’m hooked already. Feeling so so good
I understand your comment was 3 years ago, but did you already have a vitamix, mandolin, and dehydrator or did you do it another way? I still need to buy these items.

I had a vitamix I think. I bought that secondhand from eBay. I made a mistake with the dehydrator by buying a cheap one and later I bought an expensive one which is great but I don’t use it very often to be honest as I am not currently pursuing a raw diet that necessitates me dehydrating stuff very often. I did have great fun with it in the beginning dehydrating some Alfonso Mangos which I ate rather more quickly than I had anticipated after dehydrating them but I would recommend using the oven as a dehydrator and seeing how often you might be using that piece of equipment before splashing out.
I just made this tonight. It was SO GOOD! Just delectable! I never cared for zucchini pasta because the texture didn't 'hit' it for me. But now that I know to add a bit of salt and olive oil to get the more tender texture, I can eat it all the time now. Thanks for that tip Cara.
I had fresh thyme on hand, so I used that instead of rosemary. It was perfect. Added a bit more garlic to the sauce and a little sea salt. Served it with dehydrator-roasted vegetables on the side (red and orange bell peppers, halved grape tomatoes, and medallions of beautiful golden squash from the farmers market). Oh! And I made the parsley-garlic gremolata also, warmed in the dehydrator. An incredible flavor bomb.
Tomorrow I'll have the zucchini alfredo with dehydrator-roasted baby bella mushrooms.

Made this today and it changed my food world. I never would have believed that raw food could be this satisfying. I am blown away. I used the KitchenAid vegetable sheet slicer attachment and the noodles came out too good to be true.

I love the way you guys eat, Cara and Markus. I did raw vegan for 30 years but didn't thrive because I was following the extremely low fat - high fruit raw vegan thing, and felt terribly guilty every time I used nuts or avocados, or oil. (This was years ago; I've wised up.) Now I'm doing raw vegan ketogenic or low carb, and at age 67 I have come ALIVE. THANK YOU for all the great recipes.
BTW, I'm on day NINE of a water fast (feel AMAZING) so I had better stop watching this delicious food porn! I'm shooting for 2 weeks at least before I quit. Have not been hungry AT ALL so far.

so far the 2 raw vegan females that I am checking recipes are Cara and Annette larkins, both of them have this military heavy voice, like it screams discipline and super dynamic, like you don't want to mess with those women at all, ever! Markus on the other hand, the male version of raw vegan, is this sweet guy, sweet calm voice, his eyes the way he looks at the camera shows that there is a pure child in there still living and thriving........
And as far as the recipes, I can;'t wait to make them and make them for my friends as well.

I use a good quality julienne peeler and that works great for zucchini or carrot pasta. It's pretty simple. I keep a clean toothbrush by the sink to clean it quickly and easily. The cheese sauce looks awesome!!

i saw this vid two days ago and i decided to get the ingredients and make the alfredo pasta ! but changed the receipe a bit, because it is a cold dish. and at autumn time in germany, actually it is really fine to have something warm in the belly once in a while, see. so that means, i made the pasta from zucchinis, the alfredo sauce i made of pinenuts and brazilnuts and cashews etc.. and then i made the eggplant stroganoff ! and instead of the greens, i put the warm eggplant stroganoff on top of the zucchini pasta and alfredo sauce ..... awwww i can tell you, sooooo de li ci ous, yummmmmmm ... and thank you so much, you two most dearest and inspiring people !!!!! 💞❣🌷☀️🌷☀️💞

No cooked dishes please... I can find them elsewhere and it's not the point of this channel and it's message about healthy living. Finding raw recipes elsewhere is not that pleasant and easy...
Hey Markus my bmi has gone down to 16 since I stop fizzy drinks and coffee one year without it now. only drink water and eat my water mainly and fruit veg I got my bloods tested and the doctor said there surprisingly good very good in fact still don't feel my best tho working on it love your videos man

I do have one question, can you please send me the exact recipe for your "monosodium glutamate." What are the portions for the parsley, garlic, nutritional yeast, back pepper and olive oil (if using truffle oil, would you suggest black or white?). How do you prepare it? I was skeptical about the taste being as good as you claimed. I made the "Pasta Alfredo", but had to substitute almonds for the pine nuts since I forgot them, and I was so amazed with the flavor, I drive a serving over to my friend's house DURING THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!!! I found raw living inaccessible thanks to bad reactions to nuts. Ended up high fruit and of course that was a disaster, lol. Tried being heavier on the greens and veg, didn't digest well enough at all. Same with fats. I've had some raw meals I loved, it just does not diets well for me. Spent years trying. But I love to watch Cara make her creations, they're amazing.
