Damn, I wish I could look this cool. Everything from the hair to the facial hair is unreal. I’m so jealous!
I loved this style and now I developing my beard and mustache thanks
Daily it’s the walrus as it’s quick and simple without fuss.
I only handle bar on the odd occasion as it gets too much attention and it’s kind of has to be perfect to pull off good which takes time.
After many products I’ve found a wax that’s a match for my hair colour and good hold. I shape it first with this and then use strong hair gel (just enough to wet the tips) to lock it in place. I got the tips for this from your older videos!
Yeah I agree. I love styling the stache but doing it on a daily basis just isn’t for me.
Been growing my stache out for three months. Almost there. Thanks for the great video!
Hello
I've been rocking a handlebar for close to three years now, and it's brought me through some crazy ups and downs with the learning curve. Wish I had found this channel when I started! I currently style it in a handlebar with wax every other day and luckily my hair remains in a decent curl for a day or two after the wax has been absorbed. Thanks for the great tutorials, I look forward to trying out some of your techniques for other 'staches as well
Hats off to Greg.
He looks just majestic with that royal moustache and beard
Thanks Greg for all the awesome vids. Youve helped me a lot with grooming, styling, and patience. My beard journey began about five months ago and youve been my guid the whole way. Thanks again and keep the vids comming. Bryan
Most days I'll sport the Walrus or the Hungarian, but on occasions I love to pull out the English Mustache. I'm generally applying just a lot of wax but I think I'll try the Styling Balm as well! Thanks for the tips!
Epic. I have had a mustache since I was a very young man. I'm 55 years old and am now starting to experiment with new and different styles. Still trying to figure out how to grow out the hairs for a handle bar.
I just recently started rocking a handlebar mustache and so far I love it! I had the advantage of starting with several months growth of beard and mustache so I had things to experiment with and didn't have to go through the awkward phase of trying to grow out just my stashe. Loving it so far! I am not totally set on which products to use and right now I have a couple of waxes that I ordered for costume thing that I did, but when those run out I will have to get more. I am intrigued by the beardbrand wax that you apply like chapstick. That looks exceptionally convenient.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Another great video! I wear handlebar everyday. Between hair and beard I’m done in under 10 minutes. I haven’t found a mustache wax that will hold all day, I use “Got to be glued” hair gel. For Handle bar. Rinse it out every night and apply beard oil. Once you get used to it, it is really quick. Greg, you always have great pointers, thanks!
Greg you're the man!
Shawzo thank you
This tutorial remaind me the class taken by my principal who is formerly head of department of our electrical engineering department...i know him for 3 years and never saw teaching..at my final year he surprisely come and take a lecture of random point....damn...i become speachless....and i just feels so lucky and realise why he is at the post of principal !!!!!!
Great vid. Never knew there were so many terms for the moustache.
Today marks the beginning of week 9 of my yeard challenge. I'll get there eventually!! Thanks for the detailed guide!
Greg, I would have to say that you are truly a great example/teacher to follow!!! Thank you very much for all your insight and your willingness to share with the world!
I like to style my mustache with the walrus and Hungarian mustaches! I'm excited to "Rock" the English style. I'll inform you of how it comes out...
Great presentation! My stache is just shy of my being able to achieve this, in the past I have trimmed it too much and have been impatient and fed up with the awkward phase the stache growth goes through but this time I’m persisting. Thanks for your tips 🙂
Awesome stache, I loved the result good job. Tks dude!
Love the tutorials, keep them coming
Thank you for your great videos. Working on my handlebar but really like this English look.
Schnauzer..... thats exactly we call the stache here in Bavaria, where i come from. Another very good video . Thumbs up. Greets.
Nothing looks better than a big beard with a nice handlebar mustache, im currently working on that, thanks for the video Greg 👍.
Greg's wedding ring is the nicest ring I have ever seen in my life
Excellent tutorial .
I love it, going yo give this a shot, normally i rock a handle bar, with almost a full loop. Been meaning to just try a new style.
I absolutely love an English there is something strangely sophisticated and very gentleman like about this style in fact I am growing my very own right now after being inspired by your English look
Your moustache looked beautiful! I'm definitely trying to grow a handlebar moustache. Honestly, made me giggle how much product was used.
This Video was just great! I will try to wear the english in some Months. Today is my four month beard anniversary!
Since Greg has such a great mustache it would be a great advantage to have a video where he talks more about different mustache styles. Like in this video with linking the different mustache styles to famous persons (ideas: Walrus=Nietzsche; English=King George etc. etc.). The History of the mustache would also be interesting.
Anyway, thanks guys. Great Job as always.
alsoichhalt I will be talking about the other mustache shapes in an upcoming video. And will reference historic characters as well is some of my older photographs
Look at that! Greg’s beard with this moustache style looks like the Beardbrand logo.
been growing the full beard for 11 months now, typically i rock something between an english and a handle bar stache
Great clip and thanks! Currently growing a handle bar and long goatee. In the past I have just wore a normal stache and goatee. So always looking for hints on shaping...and products to use.
Hey, I just happen to be wearing and English mustache today. I’m the only guy living in these parts who seems to wear one. But I’ve had a few guys approach me and ask me how I do it. So I suspect the style will start catching on.
Frankly I think one of the main reasons people don’t do these styles often is the cost of mustache wax. I know because everyone mentions the cost. In order to continue wearing this style I’m going to make my own wax - and once I’ve perfected the recipe I’ll give the recipe to friends and associates.
I did grow my beard for the frist time. I realy have great facial hair with a totally full beard and no patches at all. And it looks realy great. Thanks to this chanel for showing how great and manly a beard actualy is.
Greetings from the Netherlands
Awesome Beard and mustache, Greg.
Trippy Atheist appreciated
Amazing, very nice!
Greg's mustache defies more than just gravity, it defies logic!
I have just began my mustache journey and am trying to get the handlebar correct.
Hey man I know this is an older video but I really wanted to see how to do a natural(ish) looking longhorn mustache I’ve only heard it mentioned in a few videos but I’m super curious about it! Anyways, thanks Greg, you the man!
Just subscribed. I had a goatee for many years, then a full beard and now I'm growing a handlebar for the first time. I love the look but not sure about just how committed i am to the maintenance demands. If i can keep it going with just one or two products applied once or twice a day i might commit. But too much more and i feel it's gonna be unsustainable for me. Good to have this channel as inspiration 🙏
I wear the handlebar/old English style mustache & beard.. daily. Yes it can be a pain.. but in the end.. it makes it all worth while
Thanks!
I normally do the walrus but have tried the handlebar recently and love it! Keep up the good videos I really enjoy them and your products!
Right on! The handlebar is an awesome style!
- Jack
Nice video very helpful
Always fancied a Handlebar.,,Currently day 1 of not shaving👍👍👍 Great video too❗️
8 months later how long is your beard
Been growing a nice English style handlebar for the last year, and what I've found works the best is the Beardbrand wax with a little Murray's Pomade. Murray's for me works a lot better than gel or glue, and gives a little more freedom for style.
Excellent suggestion on the Beardbrand and Murray's combo!
- Jack
+Beardbrand I'm 19 and I really don't have a beard What should I do?
@@navidrahman3885 give it a few years. I was patchy at best with my facial hair at your age and I can rock a sweet stache and beard now
+KaiyoteFyre brother thanks
@@navidrahman3885 give it time, i know it's a cliche but time and patience, I'm 27 have a full beard and I still develop new hair.
Yours is my fav
I've decided to give the English Mustache a try. Your final result on this video is what I'm looking to achieve.... but I think I'll fail miserably... BUT... if all goes to plan, I hope I can look as cool as you 😎
thanks!
Enjoy your videos. My beard is totally white with a quite thick moustache. I have styled with the English as well as the handlebar. I too use a secret product which gives very good hold.
Love the videos, before I was just trimming it quite short a lot but I saw your handlebar video and thought it was great which Is my go to style now. I am fascinated by the English style now too and I’m going to give it a go! Needs to grow a little thicker perhaps to look as good as yours. My beard is quite wirey and hard to tame and look as good as yours too :( but we go on, until the wife has had enough maybe
Love the English and the Hungarian. Those are my go to mustaches.
Escanor is the reason why in here to get this mustache... Inspiration at it's best.
gentil criminal is the reason why im here lmao
Normally around the farm I wear the walrus, the cows don't seem to mind. But out in public it's the Hungarian these days. Used to be a handlebar but now I've got more bulk in the mo, by not trimming it up to the lip, the nice natural flow of the Hungarian looks heaps better.
..c
0hel is his new number.
“The cows don’t seem to mind” LOL!! 😂😂😂
Great video. I have a pretty long mustache that I just part to the sides. I can do a handlebar but it’s seems very loud
I compete in Verdi category at comps like at the GABMC, but normally I’ll just let my ‘stache hangout naturally or I’ll do handlebars but I’ve been thinking about giving this style a try
I like the videos. They give me some ideas of what to try with my beard and moustache when I'm ready. Right now I'm just growing things out until I hit one year. Then I will think about trimming and serious styling. Rock on with the tips.
Glad you like 'em!
- Jack
Since I have a natural bald spot in the middle of my mustache my mustache is always an english mustache, haha.
When I had the longer mustache I used to go through a cycle through out the week, I guess I’d only completely wash the product out of it once a week, the first day I applied product I’d have a very tight curl on my handlebar mustache and then as the week would progress the curls would relax and go through the other styles (occasionally reapplying wax but not that much) until I started again. I guess my favorite look is a relaxed curl, more natural looking, kinda like the English style but a little more unkept
indeed! I have a fairly thick/long moustache...walrus, Imperial and English!
My other half uses lip balm to style his moustache. He says it is quick to apply and easy to style, and he has a wonderful English 'tache!
my mustache looks very ugly right now, but once it gets fuller, I'm most certainly going for a handle bar or typical english mustache, thanks Greg🧐
Right on! The English is a knockout style
- Jack
Tar- Ďąvįď Ťêļčøňţăŕ Stick with it.
I rock a clean handle bar, but usually walrus on the off days!
My mustache natural curls up at the ends, thought I might should try the handle bar with my goatee, thanks
Really like your vids. I know this is an old one, but it's the first I'm watching it. I just started growing and training the stache so I'm learning about product now. I'm going for the Handlebar/Imperial style. I always thought the big stache looks funny, but its growing on me. Thanks for the great content.
Glad you liked it! Really appreciate the kind words!
Thanks
Wow,cool beard 👍👍👍
Hi Greg, love this video, its helped me alot. One question, can you recomend a beard barber in the Los Angeles, CA area? I'm having a struggle finding a quality barber. Thank you, Hector Ruiz
I have never said this before: This guy looks majestic! thats the word that comes to my mind. Keep it up bro!
Damn his hair is beautiful!
@greg... Love the style man. Been trying to work with this, I just didn't know I need more product. Very cool. My question to you is how do I get the long tails of the side of my mustache to not "curl" up as much. Almost like they want to do the handlebar... And I don't style it that way.
Amazing 😱
Very cool
Hello Greg, I wonder can you tell me the actual products that you used on your Mustache. My thanks in advance ???
Watching your videos always inspires me to style my mustache. After I start, I feel like an idiot and abandon ship. Too much priming and pruning for me. Looks good on you though.
indrid cold It does take practice. But once you get the hang of it it doesn't take as much time as you would think
Good looking beard
Magnificent
Nice!!!
This is what I currently have but I have no wax! I really need some but I use my hair paste.
I do an English or Imperial everyday, its really not that much fuss but I had to learn how to apply heat for those days when my mustache has a mind of its own. 5 mins with a flat iron/hairdryer/wax and a glue stick for the tips and Im usually content. I can also spend 30 mins fussing and fighting and be miserable with the results. humidity and temperature are huge factors.
Master, can you give us some tips for grow moustache ? I have few moustache and i want to have like you
His skin is incredible.
Instead of a glue stick I’ve been using Got2b glued a styling spiking glue. It works great for holding my Santa mustache. I use low heat to set it.
Daily for me is the Imperial or the Hungarian. I don't really do the walrus too much. I think I may have accidentally done the English a few times. haha!
There aren't many dudes around where I live in N. Georgia rocking any kind of styled mustache. It's surprising and flattering how many compliments I get from both dudes and ladies, I think mostly because it's different.
Really gets on my nerves how great your beard is!
I use this style alot however I would really like to know how to get the Fuller version. Mr Moneybags style like the Monopoly guy!
beautiful
I watch all your videos but can you tell me the best way to trim up mustache on sides
I just started growing a beard about a month ago. I was trimming the mustache up to my lip, but after watching one of your videos I decided to fight the awkward stage and go for a full walrus. After a month I've got nice length and it's filling in the more sparse regions, I'm already getting compliments. My problem is that my facial hair is very coarse and curly. Would you recommend the same product for a short beard that you use when it gets to length?
Absolutely! You can still use these same products at any length really! (Also, awesome to hear that you went for the full walrus!)
He looks zeus in a good mood
if u have time for doing all that . You are doing everything right in life :)
I have a handler bar. I'll wondering why you use sea salt spray?
Great advice, love your stach. I recently over trimmed it and had to reset with a push broom. Do you have any videos about how you trim for different styles. I'm working towards what Kurt Russell wore, but trimmed to top of upper lip.
I'll definitely be watch more of your videos. Thanks.
I am a styled mustache beginner, though I am tending toward the English. Question: what do you do when it is hot out and the wax softens from the heat, resulting in loss of hold?
I used to trim my moustache to my lip line, but I'm in the process of growing it out, so that I can style it.
Excellent choice!
- Jack
How do u initially grow it out without it getting in your mouth all the time?
@@SkipODonnell get some moustache wax and when it's getting longer start styling it outwards with the wax. It'll need to be quite a firm hold wax.
@@scotti_wan_kenobi Thx Scott!
Greg, the grandma stealer !
I wish I could grow that english moustache 🇬🇧 one day
I just use a stiffer wax. I love the beard brand scents but that wax has very little hold. I only use it for looser more “natural” looking styles.
look great
