You may not want to tip your hand and let other race teams learn this, but the fastest already know. Could you do videos on setups for different tracks and conditions? You are so young and have so much experience. Pretty remarkable.
you should screen the oil coming out ,just in case something is not happy. also you should make a habit of never putting a bolt in finger tight, torque it or leave it out,just dont ask me now i know. these are fun videos, thanks
You don’t want to change the oil that often because the old molecules are rounded but the new oil molecules are sharp and will hurt your motor more by changing your oil more often
In Sprint Car Racing, the oil filter is protected by a small sheet of aluminum that protects the filter from rocks or flying debris. The hose clamp is to hold this 'sheet of aluminum in place.
So just to let ya'll know, a million + dollar yatch burned to the waterline the past few days.Why you may ask,rags filled with oil and desiel after a oil change etc..Put them outside somewhere away from EVERYTHING...

A lot of teams take the oil filter off cut it open and inspect for metal shavings every time 😎
Torque can be effected with extensions.
Absolutely! Unfortunately it’s the only way for us to reach the jet nuts on the torque tube.
Is that a heater plug hanging by the oil cooler for pre race happy you seem fully healed up

Carly, I’ve not seen a clamp around an oil filter base like that B4, what purpose is that serving and or preventing to happen?

after removing the oil drain plug, remove the filler cap and the oil will come on out.
