I was surprised to see you at Sharon so far from the west coast. I stopped by later when most outlaw drivers left to see if Tanner was around. I guess soak it all up you when you can you seem very dedicated to the job.
Enjoy the ride Carly. You're living moments that will be with you the rest of your life. The most fun I ever had was working on a sprint car team in California. The highs made up for the long hours and hard work. I'd go back and do it all again in a heart beat. It's been almost 30 years but I still get flash backs from those days and I love every one of them.
What an impressive young lady she will succeed in what ever she does.
I was at Skagit for Saturday night race and saw Tanner and his mother- always great to talk to both of them. Saw Carly later and she was wrenching on the 1T, my first thought was how awesome is it that Carly can get experience on a WOO car. This will make her a better driver, when she drives, and a better family car wrench. I then saw Tanner and Carly at Hanford and got to speak to both of them. It is great to watch the 2 siblings grow and increase their knowledge for the direction they are going at this time. Go Holmes Crew!!!!

My gosh the experience these Holmes kids well actually the Holmes racing team is having this year is amazing. Yes I'm about to bring it up again what a difference a year makes. If someone would have said that Tanner would be driving for a WoO team and his and Carly would get a chance to also help out with that team this year I wouldn't have believed it. But hey this just goes to show you that if your are good at what you do people that know what they are looking for will find you and offer good things to you. This was a neat little video you two. Hi, Carly, It's neat to see you getting experience with the World of Outlaws, just like Tanner. It's starting to look more like you're gravitating more towards being a Crew Chief instead of being a driver. What ever you choose, I wish you the best of luck, and hope that you can still keep a hand in the driving end of things. I was wondering who that was working on the car, seemed to be on game and knew what she was doing. Watching the WOO tour appeared to be a grinding experience living on the road like that. Looking at the comments, I would concur with the fantastic work ethic along with a high level of maturity, whether driving a car or working on a car, Carly has a great future in any field!
