Once again Vindolanda delivers the goods,love the nail cleaning tool and the portable altar.I like to imagine the Roman troops popping out for a pizza from that oven,especially in the bleak winter months it would have been cosy in there. 😀

I was a volunteer for two weeks in July 2010 and always enjoy the updates on the excavations at Vindolanda.
I'm going to be visiting in a couple of days. I'm very excited!
