  • For the last two weeks i've tested and tortured, used and abused the latest offering of 18v drill drivers from Metabo HPT. Compact, lightweight, Powerful, reliable, great ergonomics, and lifetime warranty this driver checks all the boxes. I wish I was made with a side handle as this very torquey drill has power to spare when used with the multivolt batteries and the Metabo RFC seems to work when it feels like it, maybe user error on my part, i'd love to know if other users had this issue as well. #metabohpt #greenmeansgo #metabohpt #multivolt #prochoice

    Had the same drill but in a kit with the TRIPLE HAMMER impact driver had to return it the TRIPLE HAMMER was acting up then i got the BOLT version and the 36 volt hammer drill its a real Power House

      Absolutely. Often overlooked and underrated the drill is a torque monster and the Bolt is a BEAST. These see more time on my jobs than almost any other combo. I'm a little biased towards a Makita impact or two. Lol

      Any other questions I can answer about it for you? I love it, probably one of my most reached for drills.

      Absolutely. Thank you. I just found new software that I can work with much easier to correct just that issue. THANK YOU so much for the feedback and support.

    How is it next to dcd800..?

    • @ProToolsApproved
      @ProToolsApproved  Před rokem +2

      I do not have a DCD800 to compare it to directly, I do have the DCD805, the hammer drill version of the 800. It of course will be slightly longer and heavier, but I could make a quick comparison video if you'd like. They're very similar in size, weight, ergonomics, and power.

      @@ProToolsApproved i would love to see that!
      No one has done it yet.
      Everyone compares the Metabo to the dcd794..

      You're welcome to your opinion, I respect that, but it's my son, and i'm raising a confident, able, man. My father was raised on a farm, running machinery at not much older than my boy, I grew up being my father's helper in many trades from a very young age, and my boy knows more about handling tools and being around them safely than the majority of the population. Some tiny wood chips got him in the face, it's not the end of the world, YES I should have gotten his safety glasses outta the shop which he DOES wear, that was a slight lapse in judgement on my part. I'll agree to disagree I with you.
