HD Classic Link (ALTTP/ALBW) for Ship of Harkinian

- Been cooking this one up for a LONG time now. Took a ton of time because almost all of the models had to be made entirely from scratch using ALTTP's concept art, and custom mouth/eye textures had to be made too.

I love the use of the classic Master Sword design! I always loved the red and gold and was sad we never got to see it in 3D

@@RueRyuzaki_Adult Link originally wasn’t supposed to look like how he does currently, all handsome and badass. He was meant look similar to his previous design, But because Koizumi’s wife went like “why doesn’t Nintendo make handsome characters?” They decided to change his design to make him look like how he does now… which is the reason young Link exists
The classic Link I was thinking about was the one from the first two Legend of Zelda titles from the NES era. But this is good too👍 This was even the first variation of Link I was introduced to from watching my cousins play ALTTP as a matter of fact.
Was considering making some alternate equipment for this one actually, I think with alt equipment and some color tweaks it could pass as NES Link pretty easily.

Me too. I always wanted to see the dark world brought to life in a fully immersive 3d game. As awesome as ALBW was, it wasn't that. Maybe someday...

Looks amazing! I know the tunics by default are a single colour but is it possible to make a version where the sleeves and hats change colour much like the game sprite? I.E pink hat green sleeves for the red mail, gold hat and yellow sleeves for blue mail etc?
Unfortunately due to how the engine works probably not- However, because the sleeves and the yellow band on the hat are a single texture, it probably wouldn't be too hard to do a retexture for the different mail colors. I'll mess around with it a bit later and see what I can come up with, might just release some alternate colors to pick from.

@@MelodyZel if I end up adjusting the sleeves to match the various mail colors, the shorts will likely match whatever color the sleeves are- so the short answer is yes lol

@@MelodyZel Assuming we get support for Iron Boots/Hover Boots eventually, definitely. Would really like to replace the gauntlets with the power gloves/bracelets eventually too when the tools support it.

That's looks great... Apart from the eyes which are horrific.
Could definitely use some improvements, first time drawing eye textures from scratch.
Need to turn the future into a fully ruined Hyrule "dark world" and use the alttp dark world theme
in case you're still going to work on this mod, i hope you take more inspiration from a 3D model of link made by a deviantart user named as "Elesis Knight" with a render simply named "link's awakening" who is the same link from a link to the past , other than that, thank you for this mod
Looks cool. I would have given him white tights on his legs for adult variation though. It would make sense too because ALBW's Link had them
I'm considering doing a few different alternate versions, a version with tights is actually pretty high on the list

Looks great however since theres no hd graphics. Could you make n64 models version of them?
I know there hasn’t been a PC port for MM like OOT, but is it possible to do model swaps on MM running on a 64 emulator?
I'm sure it's possible, but I'm not familiar with it. The SoH dev team is working on an MM port though, and I think they're looking at this year some time for release.

Love how you updated the gear as well to look like the classics! Seeing the classic (and BEST) Master Sword gave me goosebumps!
As others have mentioned, my only constructive feedback is to update the eyes and mouth to look more like the art style seen in the SNES ALTTP artwork of Link to be a bit more friendly and captivating. Otherwise, GREAT WORK!
